Lovely little hotel

I recommend that everyone stay at the Akhpat Hotel when travelling to Alaverdi. Great service, clean new rooms, amazing staff. The first photo shows our view from the window, the second our breakfast for 2!!! people. Hotel near the magnificent Akhpat Monastery - only cross the road. Shop and cafe nearby. The rooms are very warm. There's a fridge, a kettle. Complimentary local tea bags. Free huge breakfast. They ask you what time to set, you can do it early, you can do it later. Free Wifi, which is taken at the monastery. Many thanks to the hotel owner Vigen!!! We will definitely try to come back!!! Magnificent place!!! Look no further. Excellent choice.

Spent a couple of nights here with friends. What a lovely experience. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and Maria’s cooking is an absolute delight.
Breakfast is well prepared, they even got up early to make it for us as we’d an early departure when leaving.
Don’t forget to try the home made spirit too!

Perfect!

A more than pleasant stay! The Inn is extremely well placed, each room has stunning views of the monastery and mountains. Very clean and well maintained, the property owner is exceptionally kind.
She took care of us for 4 days, covering us with gifts and little touches. The breakfasts are very hearty and super good.
This is my second stay at this Pension and I am still so happy to be here!

Worst hotel to visit in Armenia

This hotel experience was horrible for me and my friends. We visited Armenia last month and this hotel was not hospitable for many reasons.
1- The asked for everyone to wake up to serve the breakfast
2- They asked to turn off lights after leaving our rooms
3- They don't respect people privacy and asked to before 12 PM and their excuse is always they want us to leave to clean the room "which they didn't"
4-The weather was cold and we asked to turn on the heater and they answered that the season hasn't started yet !!!!
I ask the ministry of tourism in Armenia to track this people and hold them accountable to this issues.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!

Cozy hotel in enjoying the Haghbat Monastery

Very quiet and clean hotel. The location is great, because is like you are in a mystic place with good people in good environment. Hope that all people will like it and hope that hotel management will be thinking about long term maintenance and improvement
