Great place to chill, highly recommend!
I’m grateful I booked time at this place, it was heavenly. Jenny was welcoming and allowed me to check in early as the room was ready. She was available for questions and advice. Room was clean, AC, tv, fridge, towels and a private outdoor sitting area. Such a lovely quiet spot, choice of sun or shade, and water access to a nearly private swimming area. Bonus: hammocks, kayaks, water floaties and a full kitchen. Can walk to restaurants, grocery store and bus route. My stay was the highlight of my trip after spending a few days at Eagle Beach. Do yourself a favour and visit San Nicolas, the murals are incredible.
I see other posts complaining about hot water, it may not have been hot, but was warm and that was enough in this tropical climate.

Please do not go to coral reef. It’s a terrible place. The picture you see online is not real; the bathroom is full of mold, the shared kitchen is dirty; the owner is a ripoff and l can go on and on. I had to leave after 2 nights even though my stay was supposed to be 5 nights. So go figure. Terrible terrible place. There was construction being done on the premises and loud noise of banging from the workers was disturbing. If you prefer a run down place, Coral Reef is for you! Don’t waste your money and l have videos to prove my point.

Check-in is easy. Owner friendly & informative about property. Non public beach & dock shared with other renters was very nice & a great spot to see the sunset. There were fish jumping after sunset. I saw a stingray from deck early one morning. Flying Fishbone is right next to apartments. So you will hear & see the customers. The owners offered discount to eat there. There were kayaks & other beach things like sand toys & floats to use. Outside shower to rinse off. There is no hot water but it was still a comfortable temperature to shower. There was a stovetop, microwave, small fridge/freezer & coffee maker in our room & another shared kitchen if needed for more cooking items. There is parking on site. The best snorkeling we found is at Mangel Halto beach which is a 6 minute drive. If you like horseback riding, Rancho Loco (16 min drive) does rides to Conchi Natural Pool in Arikok Nat’l Park & have fun friendly staff. The horses are well kept & trained.

HOTEL WITHOUT HOT WATER
The geographical place is very nice, but the photos of the rooms had nothing to do with reality.
Small room with shelf to put things, there was no comfortable armchair to read or watch TV, in the room you could only be in bed. The very small window.
You could open a postigon for the terrace, but it had no glass and you were exposed to the gaze of the customers of the restaurant next door.
The hotel does not consist of hot water, it does not warn you on the page, and the water is heated in the pipe with the sun.
The facilities are not well maintained, yes, it is quite clean, the bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels cute.
Communal kitchen and no breakfast, in the room there was ice cream, coffee maker and electric water jug.

The location was beautiful. Very secluded and quiet. Many amenities to enjoy- water floats, beach loungers, kayaks…all at no additional cost. The rooms are no frills but very clean and comfortable.
