Excellent hotel in Adelaide City Centre
This is the second time we have stayed at the Indigo Hotel and it was as good as we remembered. From the friendliness of front office staff, the check in was smooth and room available a few hours earlier than normal check-in.
Great location close to Central Markets and Chinatown and an easy 10-15 minute to Rundle Mall. We loved it and will return on our next visit to this beautiful city.

Disappointing petit experience
The overall experience could have been lovely had the food been good - the entree that can only be described as a white squishy blob which was tasteless and oozed cottage or fetta cheese on a bed of hard green tomatoes sprinkled with balsamic was gross - the seafood soup with shells that needed fishing out contained rubbery overcooked muscles and was lukewarm, the main course did have a really nice piece of meat but that was it - a few slithers of mushroom and broccolini on a bed of the soggiest mash I have ever encountered, then dessert covered in an inedible burnt toffee on a tart that couldn’t be broken with the spoon - added to that we were sitting above a noisy area making it hard to hear the show on the plate, whereas others were seated in a private area, the lady next to us was vegetarian and was served a whole head of cauliflower as her main - it looked awful and she nibbled at it then ate her daughters fries - very disappointed- especially with the high cost - the show meals didn’t even match ? Don’t waste your money !

It's a boutique hotel. A good place to stay. The decor was sometimes *a lot*. (more pizazz) but it was sufficient.

I had a really great time staying there to celebrate my birthday. All the staffs are wonderful, and we really love to hang out in their rooftop bar.

Be very very careful
Be very careful with this hotel ….
Beautiful location near the Adelaide central market and down the road from the Adelaide’s first Mosque. Lovely staff and beautiful food. However we left and paid our final bills asking specifically was there anything else. No they said that settles everything . Imagine my surprise when returning home to London after a wonderful break in the city I was born and ordained a priest, to be sent an email saying I still needed to pay for two more days. I’d paid for the trip with my pension money so I wanted to be sure everything was paid. Then after seeing a lawyer I went back to them asking why I wasn’t made aware of this earlier. So without me comparing their bills and my bank record they took the money from my account. They may have the law on their side but their ethical approach to how they operate is awefull . So please please be careful they were even late restoring my bond blaming my bank. They conveniently forgot they had send an apology and a copy of their transaction dated a week after our departure. I would choose somewhere else where people are more ethical. Although IHG were full of apologies they really didn’t change anything. I would be staying away from there complete chain now.
