Cancelled flight, Alcyone for the night courtesy of Jetstar

Stayed here for the night arranged by Jetstar because my flight home was cancelled 5 mins before boarding, I had been awake since 1:30 as I had a shuttle coming as I had a mini holiday with my sister in the Gold Coast , anyhow after spending 8 hours in the airport I decided to go to the hotel and wait in the lounge for check in , staff were very friendly and efficient and did everything they could to get us to our rooms as quick as they could, they were waiting on Jetstar to confirm names but this had took a few hours, so they said we’re just going to allocate your rooms anyway , I thought this was very nice of the staff.
I stayed in room 309, A great apartment for the night and also I was given $30 charge back to the room for dinner, that could be used at 4 different restaurants, bed were so nice a king koil mattress that you could
Actually purchase, they are the best I had one when I lived in nz. Great information in the room, after catching up on a little I had a night swim to relax, it was perfect. Everything apart from me not being able to get the bedroom tv working but that was no deal breaker as there was a huge tv in the lounge. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I visited Brisbane.

Great to hear we made your unexpected cancelled flight into a lovely stay.
Appreciate your comments and photos. Our front office team try our best to get disrupted travellers settled as soon as rooms are ready. The 24hr H Cafe outside our door is very convenient for situations such as this.

Top Location

Very nicely presented residential apartments. Very Central too. By taxi, 15 Minutes from the Airport and 10 minutes to the CBD.
Situated amid many restaurants and a short drive to both Eagle farm and Doomben racecourses.
We will definitely return and strongly recommend this accommodation.

Staff very good, check in smooth. Loud thuds through the night, soundproofin should be better
