Great place to stay in the heart of the city
Great location by the river - has a rich and old world feel- rooms are spacious and very comfortable with all that one may need. The view from the river view rooms was superb

I arrived early, before two o'clock. The staff said they would call when the room was ready. I checked back at one o'clock, and the room was not ready. Finally, at 2 p.m., I went to the desk, and they had several room keys to hand out, and the room had been ready for a while. Also, parking was part of the price, but the staff only valued it until check-out time. Previously, they would give me at least one hour to get lunch before leaving.

Not what i was hoping for
Stay was disappointing. The hotel’s lobby had a funny smell.
Reception couldn’t explain well enough what we needed to know.
Parking that we booked and paid for at the time of booking was unavailable. We were handed a map and provided with a misleading info which led to
us parking on the street and paying again. Because of the parking issue we lost 40 minutes which in turn made us late to our function.
I booked a room for a couple but we were give a room with 2 single beds, tiny old Tv with only free to air channels- no smart function hidden in a cupboard, and no usb ports to charge devices .
I liked the spacious bathroom and bath tub.
Not sure why we were charged slightly more for our stay then what the price on booking.com was as we haven’t used the mini bar.

An amazing experience at Stamford Plaza Brisbane
I have stayed at Stamford Plaza Brisbane for attending a wedding dinner nearby. This is my first visit to Brisbane. My experience is amazing. The staff are very friendly and have provided me with very efficient service. I am very happy with the cleanliness and quiet of my room. I also enjoy the beautiful river view. In my early morning adventure I have been to Kangaroo Point bridge, City Botanic Garden and Sunday market all within a very short walking distance. A great selection and quality of full Buffet breakfast is offered in my booking with one dollar extra. My stay at Stamford Plaza is over my expectation. I would say thank you for this happy experience. I will come again next visit.
