Gorgoeus cottage in Evandale

We loved this cottage. So beautifuly restored with a lovely big bathroom and separate laundry. There is a small courtyard at the back of the cottage with s a little garden. The owners are situated in their own house behind the cottage and we did not see them at all so it's very private. Lounge is cosy with a good TV and heating. Breakfast provisions were provided including tasty loaf of bread. It's so close to the airport - about 5 km - on a straight quiet road and easy tro drop off hire car after filling with petrol at nearby servo. We could walk to the little village's 2 pubs and supermarket. The big Sunday Market is about 200 m away in the lovely park. Evandale is probably one of the most delightful historic villages in Tasmania. This cottage is ideal for couples.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was tastefully decorated with good utensils. Bed very comfortable. Owner very welcoming.

A clean and welcoming cottage that you can discover in downtown Evandale, you dive right into another era.

Historical building with modern conveniences.

Located in a historic locality/town in northern Tasmania near Launceston.
The original cottage appears to be well-preserved and the add on structures (over time) have been modestly incorporated into the building. There is a small and secluded courtyard that has a nice sunny aspect (when weather permits - this is Tasmania!).
All modern conveniences are available.

A very comfortable stay in a beautifully renovated cottage with modern amenities in a charming village full of equally wonderful restored buildings. The washing machine was a bonus. Simple breakfast supplies were plentiful.
