A nice stay
This is a nice quiet, well grassed and shaded park located a little way out of the cbd but within walking distance. The ensuite on the site was a little old but clean. It is opposite a beautiful beach and close the lighthouse. So a nice area to have a stroll. Geraldton itself was a surprise. It is a nice town to visit for a couple of days. A big thank you to the parks reception staff who took the time to give us advice on what to do and see.

A good location for the visit in a comfortable cabin
We stayed on two occasions, one for two nights and the other for one night. Each time we were in the same one bedroom standard cabin. The staff in the reception were friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. The cabin was a good size with the necessary facilities for a self contained stay. The cabin was in a quiet area of the park.

Sad for Geraldton. Don’t Stay Here.
Not too bad a location but could hear the trains shunting all night.
Apparently there is a lot of theft so lock everything up (was warned twice).
Take a torch with you to use the amenities in the middle of the night as the lights turn off automatically, leaving you sitting in total darkness.
Staff are lazy and lack social skills.
1. Did not follow up on the disgusting sewer smell (just moved sites so as not to offend the “strange” person letting out grey/black water directly onto the ground). The stench and 100’s of flies was so putrid that you couldn’t sit outside.
2. Staff too lazy to knock on the doors of two amenities blocks, or put up a couple of signs to say they were turning the water off. Hair full of shampoo, water cut off, freezing cold and NO WARNING or advice until too late. Was apparently a leak and “very urgent” but only a relatively small pool of water in a lower area of the park where nobody was camping/parked. (husband checked it out and spoke to repairer).
Do not recommend this park.
