Demolished

The building is demolished with no notification. We now have to find somewhere else to go. Found out by accident that it is just rubble. We booked months ago for Cooly Rocks and now it is too expensive to find anywhere else.

Don’t waste your money

This is a cheap motel with delusions of grandeur. See through towels; of which only 2 were given for 3 of us. No bath mat and no hand or face towels. Sawdust in the closet. No microwave. Crappy internet you have to pay for (what self respecting hotel nowadays charges for internet if they want your patronage?) this place sucks.

Appalling, avoid at all costs.

March 10, 2022... DO NOT STAY HERE! The place is dirty and unkept. The website is very misleading. We waited for 3 hours to get in as the office closes at 10.30am. Arrived at 2pm and nobody answered the "check in" phone number. We waited around with other guests who also couldn't get in. So we were forced to book alternative accommodation. And now, they're not giving me a refund! An absolute hack operation. I'm off to Fair Trading. 0/10. I wonder how places like this stay in business??

Do yourself a favour, don't even look at this place, give it a miss completely.

Even if you think there is no accommodation left on the gold coast, there has to be something better than this. We booked three rooms, two had no hot water, two had issues with the lights and one had water all over the floor from a leak somewhere. As there is never anyone on site it could not be conveyed to them of all the issues. And honestly the only reason I have give them 1 star was how clean the rooms were.

Don't do it. We will never return. Waste of money.

When we arrived at 2.30pm (check in was after 2pm) sign said Reception was closed at 10.30am 6 days a week. No one around to give us a key. Another guest asked if we had towel in our room and I told her we couldn't even get in, she entered a code in a lock box for me to get my key.
None of this was told to me prior to arrival.
Had a letter that stipulated no basic services are available.
There was no utensils, no toaster, no towels, no WiFi.
The fridge was open and the freezer had major ice build up and door wouldn't close and the seal was broken. We had to buy an esky and Ice just to have cold water and milk.
The fan and air-conditioning unit had dust and mould. It looked like it snowed with dust from the fan when turned on which was not good for 2 asthmatics.
There were several other issues but I don't have time to write a novel.
To sum it all up. It was not a nice stay at all. Definitely not worth the money. LOOKS NOTHING LIKE WHAT'S ADVERTISED. A local backpackers looked better.
