Memorable holiday
First time visiting this region from NZ as a family and absolutely loved it. Iconic lives up to its name 100%! We had an ocean view apartment on the 14th floor with magnificent views of the hinterland and amazing ocean view looking back to Surfers.

Stunning apartment close to Kirra Beach
We booked and oceanview apartment to give our overseas visitor a full beach experience. The apartment was exceptionally clean, the view was stunning and the location was close to the beach the restaurants around us. Highly recommend.

Disappointing Rooms
We spent 4 nights here, and due to a long drive, we couldn’t check in during regular hours. Upon arrival, we found our room to be clean and tidy—no complaints there. However, I had specifically requested 2 single beds in one room for 2 adults, but the second room was tiny and the beds provided were quite small, and we couldn't open the wardrobe as the bed was positioned too close to it. Additionally, the bedroom was very warm and only equipped with a fan.
I approached the front desk with pictures of our room to explain that we were living out of our luggage, but the only responses we received were comments like, “We’ve never had a complaint before.” They offered to move the beds together but ultimately dismissed my concerns.
The location is fantastic, but I can’t say if all rooms have similar issues or if it was just this one. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing, especially since this was my only break before starting my next job.
I don’t envision returning, especially considering we paid $1,500 for 4 nights. There are more affordable and larger rooms available in Coolangatta that are worth exploring.

Wonderful family stay
Excellent location, close to cafes and restaurants and playground.
Large, spacious apartment with lovely views of the mountains.
Smart TV had lots of channels and movies to watch.
Washing machine, dryer, microwave and dishwasher very convenient.
Gym small - probably only room for 1 person at a time but that's okay.
Pool was very cold, I know it's heated so it's not freezing but it was outside and exposed and wouldn't have reached over 20°C. I jumped in and got straight back out. Definitely not warm enough to swim on a cold winters day.
The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming and helpful.
