Perfect holiday location

We stayed for a week in a 2 bedroom ocean view corner suite on a high floor. We didn't need to use a car to get around as the location was so close to shops, restarants, transport and airport. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We really had a relaxing time and would definitely be back. It was brilliant to walk across the road to the beach. The on-site tennis court was fantastic, as was the pool and spa. Supermarket was just a 5 minute walk. Big shout out to Lisa on front desk who helped us during our stay.

Small but perfectly functional room for 5 night stay. Microwave and washing machines and dryer were good to have. Good location. Clean room and helpful staff.

Promised a Refund, Still Waiting Over a Month

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The room was old, poorly maintained, dirty, and so noisy that it was difficult to relax or get a decent night’s sleep. It also bore very little resemblance to the photos and description used to advertise the property, which was misleading.
After we complained, the hotel accepted that our experience was unacceptable and agreed to issue a refund. Unfortunately, that is where the good customer service ended. It has now been over a month, and despite numerous follow-up emails, we still haven’t received our money. We are repeatedly told that Head Office is processing the refund, but no one can provide any confirmation or even an estimated timeframe.
It’s incredibly frustrating that the hotel has acknowledged its failings and promised to make things right, yet continues to delay the refund. The way our complaint has been handled has left an even worse impression than the stay itself. Based on both our experience at the hotel and the lack of accountability afterwards, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We understand your disappointment, particularly after your concerns were acknowledged. While refunds are processed through our Head Office, we appreciate that this does not lessen the inconvenience of the extended wait, and we apologise for the lack of a clear timeframe.
Please be assured that we are continuing to follow up internally to have your refund finalised as soon as possible. We regret both the shortcomings you experienced during your stay and the ongoing delay in resolving the matter.

Absolutely beautiful. Great view. Great location. Nice and quiet after the rat race of the city. We probably will skip the city next time and just stay here.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mantra Coolangatta. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was absolutely so lovely and very helpful. Without planning it we arrived during Cooly Rocks Festival. Cooly Rocks was so fun and so well run. We couldn't love it more. We will absolutely be back soon.
