Amble is the Best!!!! 5+stars

Amble at Hahndorf is probably the nicest lodging we have encountered in all of our travels. The owners meet us when we arrived and made sure we knew how everything worked. The apartment was very roomy and the kitchen was well stocked with the dishes, tableware, and cooking equipment we needed. Everything was spotlessly clean and inviting. There were two notebooks with information about the apartment, equipment and local dining and sights. They even included a generous bottle of Port wine to sip at our leisure. All the light switches and controls were labelled, so we didn't have to guess how to turn things on or off. Twice a day, they feed the local birds so there was a flock of cockatoos and other birds to see. The off-street parking is very helpful. Our apartment had two balconies to enjoy the views of the local area.

Great weekend away

We had a fantastic stay at the two bedroom unit. The property is located on a quiet street and is very well laid out. Everything was extremely clean and welcoming. The spa was great to use, and the unit was well stocked with everything we needed. We also received a very warm welcome from the host. Highly recommended

Perfect place for a Hahndorf stay

We had a perfect stay at The Amble. The space was modern, comfortable, and spacious, with everything we could possibly need. We loved the views from the balcony, overlooking horses, cockatoos, and beautiful trees. The property is located on a quiet, charming street, just minutes by foot from the start of the Hahndorf strip.
Vanessa was warm and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

We loved that the kitchen was fully equipped with condiments, utensils etc just like at home.

Inexpensive yet exquisite.

Stayed Xmas eve Xmas day Boxing day ..upstairs, beautiful, peaceful yet handy to everything....
Kitchen, cooking, pantry supplies exemplary, as were beds, views, gardens, flora and fauna. Best hosts hospitality and Plunger coffee yet!!!
A cleanliness rarely experienced anywhere! Advertising photos rang true!!
We travelled by public transport, were met at bus stop, our luggage and food etc..all put in rooms and fridge for when we arrived as we spent awhile in town .
Upon departure they walked us and luggage to bus stop...
You will enjoy the warmest host Jamie and Vanessa, such a delightful combo.
