Great stay!
Secondly, this was a great place to stay, and fantastic value for money! We booked at the last minute, during peak season, and were surprised at the affordability and availability.
The place was spacious for a small cottage, with all the amenities and comfort you could ask for, and as a bonus there were daily visits from the locals (kangaroos, emus, and numerous bird life) passing through the surrounding bushland setting.
If you are after a comfortable, well appointed place stay at a very affordable price, this should be at the top of your list ... definitely recommended.

Buyer Be Ware
First I don't know who they are appealing to. There were no linens (no sheets, towels t-towels, etc.) We had to pay the neighbor $30 to provide skimpy towels and two sets of sheets (there were three of us) and we had to make our own beds (hard old mattresses). The owner did not provide directions on how to access the place until after we arrived and many calls to her. There were no shampoos, soap, coffees. The bar stools were still up on the counter. It was cold. There is a wood burning stove, but no wood. While traveling from out of the country, I certainly expect to be able to relax after a day of site seeing. This is not the place to do so. While it is true as the previous reviewer wrote there is an abundance of wildlife, that is in spite of the owner not because of her.Margot is very difficult to work with.

Bagara Cottage has new owners from June 2019. We provide all the bedding and the linen & towels are professionally laundered for each stay. We also have a small supply of tea, coffee, shampoo etc and there is a wood shed that is stocked with wood for the combustion fire to keep you extra warm in the cool months. Our contact details along with address and key instructions are provided at least 5 days prior to arrival. Since taking over this property we have had loads of very happy guests!
