Simple cabin as described - older style - but clean, with comfy beds and everything we needed. As described used the shared bathroom. Right next to the lake. Good overnight stop on our drive and value for money.

Fry pan not working stove hotplates took a long time to heat up.
Beds very comfortable. Heating good.

Basic accommodation for price.
Noisy with road trains during the night.
Mattress needs rotation as lumpy on 1 side and indentation on other. Whilst my greeting at reception was cold and felt like I was an inconvenience a
Redeeming aspect was they turned the heater on in the cabin which was thoughtful. Also the water is not drinkable so need to bring plenty for cooking etc.

Cabin is great, clean, but the air conditioning doesn’t seem to work well. Staff are excellent. Stayed there for the night driving interstate with my Jack Russell so that is the comfiest place we’ve stayed in. No toilet roll though. Other that that and the aircon, I’d give it a 5 star!

Changes to the cabin are for the worst! Pool is good though

We were disappointed with the cabin. Cleanliness was not up to scratch- very poor with sticky stuff left over parts of the kitchen. Also, the addition of the extra bunk bed is a huge let down… I understand it’s to make the cabins fit more people but a double bed on top of a double bed is too much. It’s very dark inside and the mattresses were either way too hard or way too soft. Such a shame as we have stayed here many times before and these changes to the cabins sucked! On a positive- great location and addition of the pool.
