Overall lovely - Needs Work

The location was fantastic and close to restaurants and beaches. There is some maintenance that needs to be done- cutains in bathrooms need to be cleaned, grout in bathrooms need to be rebleaches and general safety in areas. There is exposed material in the pool area as a result of a broken beam and if injested can be highly toxic.

Not a 5 star hotel

Title: Fell far short of five-star expectations

We had high hopes for this stay but unfortunately it did not come close to matching the price or the five-star billing.
The villa was poorly presented from the outset, extremely dusty, unclean, and not up to the standard you would expect at this level. The pool area drains were covered in hair, the sauna was out of service with hazard tape around part of it, and the spa garden had packaging left on the floor with a sofa covered in dark hair. The window in our children’s bedroom would not close properly, which was a genuine safety concern we shouldn’t have had to raise.
We flagged these issues at the front desk and the team member we dealt with was genuinely kind and tried his best. He arranged for us to view an alternative villa, which we appreciated, but relocating mid-stay with two young children simply wasn’t realistic. He also assured us a cleaner would attend our villa between 3:30 and 5pm. No cleaning had taken place when we returned.
A $200 credit was offered. Given the extent of the issues across the entire stay, we didn’t feel this came close to reflecting what we experienced.
The food also let us down. A cheese plate came out as a few cubes of orange cheese with what looked like leftover fruit from breakfast.
On our final morning we arrived for breakfast, which was included in our package, and were told no table was available because a reservation was required for Mother’s Day. I had to point out that breakfast was part of our booking before we were seated, without much warmth, after an uncomfortable exchange to start what should have been a relaxed last morning.
Since returning home I have emailed the property on several occasions and have not received a single response, which has honestly made the whole experience even more frustrating. I have photographs of everything mentioned and have now lodged a formal complaint. I wanted to share this so others can make an informed decision before booking.

I was warmly welcomed by reception staff, first point of contact.
It was a peaceful stay. Just the pod machine and bar fridge was leaking water but not a bother, I advised via email and an easy fix for maintanence.
The whole resort needs upgrading to put in that wow factor. Lovely stay none the less and my room was clean just a little dusty. Worth a little care and loving touch, this place is more than ideal.
Restaurant staff were so warm and friendly, was looked after & spoilt. You pay for amazing customer service, so well worth it :)
Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Pullman Magenta stores shores resort hotel Sydney a place to escape

Very disappointing. Had rented a house. A lot of little stuff that didn't work and very medium clean. Do not trust the pictures of the pool which is extremely small but the worst very dirty. Guests leave bottles, glasses of dirt all around. The next morning nothing is cleaned. This raises doubts about the quality of the pool. Pool bar not at all up to a 5 star rating. Hours of restraint because of lack of personnel. The worst being the places dedicated to garbage: a stench, during the 3 days we stayed, no service to clear garbage, a stench in the heat and critters lying inside. A shame. Main bar and restaurant not very classy and not very warm. Not at all up to a 5 star rating. Run away
