A perfect base to explore region

Room was spacious clean with comfortable bed and modern bathroom. We ate twice at the restaurant which was heaving due to public holiday but great pub food was served by hard working crew.

Great value

Lovely room for a great price.
I booked a single room, which was internal so no outside windows in the room, however the room was well furnished and in great condition with a fridge, aircon and a lovely light and newly done bathroom.
Great location for a wander down to the Snowy river, especially beautiful at sunset.
I’d highly recommend booking a table for dinner, as I was there on a Wednesday night the week before Christmas and it was very busy.
Good drinks selection and food menu, check out the specials board. I had steak, chips and salad for $25 and it was a great meal.
Big deck area outside as well as a large inside eating area.

Good accomodation in a great spot.

This great country pub offers great food and views but also simple, but comfortable accommodation. Our room was quite small but had been relatively recently renovated. The room had a split system air-conditioner servicing it and contained a refrigerator, comfortable bed and bedside tables with lamps. The bathroom had a shower, toilet and vanity. The parking is close to the room and the accommodation complex has a lovely veranda with glimpses of the ocean. The room does suffer from some noise, especially when fisherman guests head off for an early start.
The pub features in a number of Restaurant guides about good eating in regional Victoria. It is a justifiable accolade. The pub food is not cheap, but it is very high-quality and has generous portion sizes. The deck that faces the Snowy River is big and offers fabulous sunset views. It is a popular dining spot, so reservations are normally required, particularly on a Saturday night.
If you are passing through and looking for a place to stay, I recommend the Marlo pub. Accommodation is also available in Orbost, which is about 20 minutes away , but the location of the Marlo pub is hard to beat.

Great pub and accommodation

Finally got to stay in Marlo Hotel. We have tried many times however always been fully booked. Love to newly renovated room with balcony. Great being about to stroll through a door to the bistro. Staff friendly and helpful. Travelling from NSW to Melbourne it is a great little find for an overnighter to split the journey.

Magnificent Marlo,

The accommodation was fantastic value for money. All amenities you need. Very clean and spacious.
The manager Paul and staff were extremely friendly in the pub. The food was exceptional and it had a great atmosphere.I would go back to this place again on a family holiday.
