Overall was a good stay. Good location, able to leave bags, quiet room. However room cold as the heating vent faces the window and there is no heating in the bedroom. Apartment not cleaned properly with rubbish left in the kitchen. Very hard bed, not just firm, hard. On balance there are better places to stay.

Average stay poor communication.
Room was nice but the ad clearly said there was a heated pool. After booking and not receiving pool towels spoke to reception they proceeded to tell me the pool is open but isn’t running at the correct temperature due to on going maintenance which was never mentioned when paying the security deposit. Rather disappointing as My partner and I only booked to stay there as we were going to use the amenities.

The pool closure was an unfortunate building maintenance issue, and we communicated the closure through our online channels and OTA partners once we were made aware. That said, I understand your disappointment, especially as access to the amenities was part of the reason you chose to stay with us.
I also apologise if the communication around pool towels and the pool temperature was not clear enough during your stay. We will review how we communicate temporary facility disruptions to ensure guests receive the information as early and clearly as possible.

Great stay.
My stay here was fantastic, great location, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, my room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. The outdoor areas were clean and had beautiful plants too.

Great location; excellent showers; enjoyed our stay
Great location for what we were doing in Melbourne. Terrific customer service. The apartment was very clean and warm; showers were amazing; lots of storage if you were staying for a week or more; supermarket and Southern Cross station nearby. Good size fridge along with microwave, dishwasher and cooking facilities.
Small things to note: pillows may need replacing as some were lumpy and it would be handy to have a powerpoint near the dining table to be able to use a laptop for working.

Family Getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at Lumina Suites. The reception staff were fantastic, and we were even upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment, which made our stay even better.
The location was amazing! Far enough from the downtown area that there was no traffic noise, but still within easy walking distance to the CBD. It was a really nice mix of being quiet and still close to everything we needed.
We will definitely be booking here again next time we return to Melbourne!
