Rooms are clean. Location is great. Pool and spa are great. Worth a stay.

Nice staff and place but ..
Nice flat but.. he deserve a deep cleaning
Just take pictures , useless to explain.
I had to rewired the internet access point the third day in the wardrobe because all was unwired.
If you are 6 guests, two of them will not be able to be seat around the dinning table, only 4 chairs while the flat could welcome until 6 peoples.
Additionaly the staff was very helpful.

Paragon by Clixx, Melbourne: A week’s stay in gastronomic heaven Melbourne warrants a proper serviced apartment – fresh produce sourcing at the markets is hunter fun. Paragon was the rosiest pick as it’s smack right in the CBD – you can easily cover most of the tourist spots on foot - quintessential Queen Victoria market is 10 min away and the apartment in the free tram zone. There are so many over-the-rainbow great merits, so when the alarming and greatly inconvenient demerits popped up, incense naturally took over. Here’s the quick list of polarised rundowns:
Unicorn Merits:
- Great location in CBD
- Gold shimmering modern building, façade, modern amenities and fab facilities like a sauna, 2 hot tubs overlooking the streets and skyscrapers, state of the art gym, lap pool.
- Space well redefined – aesthetic communal areas such as theatre, dining room and library.
- In-unit generous space and sunlight – this is the best-looking serviced apt we ever had as avid, far-flung travelers. The view of the skyscrapers from your unit is knockout. No rooftop bar visits needed. Stylish furnishing, albeit very stained and some pieces worn out.
- Premium state-of-the-art appliances – Bosch oven, LG washer/dryer, dishwasher, SMEG kettle, Samsung microwave, DeLonghi toaster, Samsung large fridge with water dispenser.
- Great bathroom with thoughtful design and space. Thoughtful toiletries including body lotion and conditioner.
- Responsive concierge on WA on requests, refills, etc
Gross Demerits:
- Housekeeping is the biggest letdown. Our unit has a sheath of dust on everything and the floor was dusty. Our feet were dirty upon entrance.
- Sieve was covered in dried rotten food. Cutlery had dried food pieces stuck to them. We nearly retched. Had to clean out ALL kitchen equipment in the same drawers. To our dismay, dishwasher didn’t work. They didn’t allow a change of unit nor repaired it for our 1 week stay.
- Unit wasn’t well cleaned – only surface cleaning. Look under furniture or move appliances and you see the dust, dried food pieces, stains etc.
- Although there’s a premium oven, there aren’t bake trays or equipment, rendering it useless.
- No coasters or place mats - table is stained with water marks and other stains.
- On our last evening before our flight to Hobart – the next leg of our journey, the socket on the wall didn’t work so the washer couldn’t be started. We couldn’t move it as the water hose wasn’t long enough. It was Christmas so concierge checked out at 3 PM. We tried restarting the circuit board several times. Nothing worked. Oddly, when concierge replied the next morning, the socket worked. But we had an hour to wash and had to pack the wet laundry along for our early flight.
Some minor inconveniences were tolerated. Kitchen sanitation was bad. But when the dishwasher then washer/dryer didn’t work, I wondered why we checked in here over a hotel, at a premium price. #eatstylishtravelstylish

Cheap, clean and central!
Beds were HORRIBLY sunken and could really do with a replace, no spare pillows unfortunately, and they don’t provide extra towels at all - 2 for 2 adults staying, so if you need another to dry your hair, or for the sauna/spa you’re out of luck.
Ok, for the price… but could be improved easily with minimal fuss.

The place is clean but set back is that there is Aircon in the rooms but this was o/come with cool weather in Melbourne. Toilets doors has no lock. And the place is Abit small for 4 occupants. There is no housekeeping services which is a let down. One saving grace is the gym and hot tub and sauna. But the location is superb and within walking distance to many nearby facilities like QVM and train station.
The booking needs to clearly highlight that my booking is without house keeping.
