Looks great after refurbishment

The property looks great after the refurbishment. Not so dark and dingy now. It still maintained its Art Deco feel.
The one bedroom was self-contained with kitchen and dishwaher, stove, microwave, nespresso machine and oven.
No washing machine but there is a laundry you can use.
Location near the station, trams and lots of restaurants and bars.

Perfect place for our needs when in Melbourne

We have just had another very nice week at the Sebel.
It is a perfect spot for our needs when we spend time in town.
So close to Flinders St. Station and even closer to Town Hall Station which is one of the new station in the tunnel which worked very well for us .
We were in a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with kitchen and lounge area on the 4th. floor with sliding door/window that open and overlooks Flinders Lane.
Very comfortable and warm, great wifi, tv in the bedroom and lounge.
Plenty of kitchen appliances so you can cook meals if you wish, you are also soo close to many great restaurants.
We feel perfectly safe staying there.
Since we stayed there in July 2025 the place has had a complete refurbishment and looks great.
We are looking forward to our next stay.

Very nice property. Centrally located. Staff helpfull but let down by lack of focus on check in. We paid for the car parking but were asked to pay again for it on check out. We also pre paid the room but were charged again on check in. This caused a delay on check out processing the refund.

Great location with comfortable rooms

We stayed in a one bed room apartment that was a good size had all the amenities for an apartment. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The location is excellent and close to trams, trains, restaurants, bars and everything worth enjoying in the city

Lovely hotel. Close to everything.

We have been truly spoilt with a five room suite kitchen, lounge, study nook, bedroom and a huge bathroom.
Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom toiletries are good quality and generous.
Laundry services are available.
The hotel is really centrally located, within walking distance to the most amazing restaurants and trams.
Beautiful hotel with helpful staff.
