Amazing location and service

Joanne and Norm are the loveliest of people and nothing was ever a problem. We had an amazing stay at the lake and everything was such a dream. I would highly recommend a visit and we will be back in the future.

Majestic Relaxing Therapeutic Wow and Wow

Joanne and Norman are certainly SUPERHOSTS. My husband, son and Angel our fur baby stayed in the Spillway Cottage.
The cottages are beautifully maintained. Imagine waking up to a view of the lake. The bathroom was immaculately clean which has a shower and toilet.
In the main area, yes there’s a bath with a view.
The kitchen is well stocked. All you have to take is food, drinks, clothing, toothpaste and your toothbrush.
There’s a tennis court on-site and you can float on the lake in a canoe.
I’m definitely going back!!

Beautiful setting

Our cottage on the lake was just delightful. We enjoyed waking up to the sight and sounds of amazing birdlife. The property is very well maintained, with a nice boardwalk, tennis court and other facilities on offer. We stayed at Midway Cottage (which accommodates 5) as this was the only one available so the cost was pretty steep especially considering there are none of the usual 'frills' provided (aside from tea, coffee, a tiny carton of milk and a mini oven which didn't work properly). That aside, the cottage was gorgeous and very clean and the setting was tranquil although there was quite a bit of road noise at times.

Magical, peaceful and perfect

After finding this gem on line I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had booked a night at The Barn Loft for 8 middle aged women to celebrate a 50th birthday. Everyone was blown away with our accomodation and the grounds. The Loft was clean, fresh, and had everything we could desire. From the boardwalk to the lake, the birds and the serenity, it was more than we could’ve asked for. Easy communication with the hosts to book and confirm. Highly recommended and a few of us will definitely be back with family members.

Beautiful venue but needs dishwasher & better kitchen appliances

We recently stayed in the Cottage for a large family Christmas. Overall it was extremely enjoyable. The location is superb, the beds comfortable and the pool was wonderful. Our only issue was trying to cook every meal for 18 people on a old stoves (farenheit) with slow ovens and then hand wash all the dishes afterwards! A dishwasher would be much more efficient on water usage. If water pressure is a problem then a pump is required too. Lastly, the fridge was old and highly inefficient. With these issues solved it would be perfect.
