Do not stay in this place! So disgusting and unclean!
Upon arrival we were asked to check the room to see if the beds were made and we had fresh towels which there were. But when we brought our bags in we noticed the state of the room which was so unclean and disappointing. I have attached some of the photos for your reference so you can follow up with your cleaners. The place looks so nice and clean on the outside but the room was inexcusable. Please provide me with a refund.
I did leave a note on the sink but am wondering whether the managers received it.
Some of the following needed attention:
All ceiling fans / exhaust fans full of dust and dirt.
Fire blanket cupboard was dirty and had someones old hand cream in it.
The bedroom side table lights had not been dusted and were not working.
Electric blanket was not folded and hanging down from top shelf in Bedroom cupboard.
Face cream sitting in side table near bed.
Carpets were stained and not vaccummed.
Hair all over couch
Tables in lounge had crumbs and dust all over them.
Front door was filthy
Air con / Heater did not work properly and sounded very loud. Think it is broken. (We froze the night- there were no spare blankets in the cupboards)
Dishes were still in the dishwasher that was not unpacked
Dish cupboard was unclean
Cultery draw was stained and unclean
Fridge was unclean
Kettle had dirty splash marks all over it.
Kitchen power point was all greasy and broken
Light shades were full of insects
No battery in clock
Tea, coffee and sugar bowls were all dirty and not filled.

Definitely not holiday accomodation, might be ok for some……..just.
It’s on the highway but we didn’t really hear any road noise,. The room we stayed in was a two bedroom apartment and set back a bit from the road. First impression wasn’t good with broken verandah rails, weed garden, smelly full ashtray outside the door, wet dirty tea towel on the sink and in general the room didn’t smell great ! Small, bathroom with no shelves but full size washing machine and drier, thin walls, two noisy ceiling fans, no range hood over cook top and torn curtains. Definitely not holiday accomodation ! Doubt I would stay again but served the purpose I suppose.
Give the rooms a deep clean and update some of the fixtures and appliances it would be acceptable…..just.
