King island serenity

We were initially disappointed when we discovered our accommodation was on the other side of the island. It was very short lived. Upon arrival we were met by Bob who made us feel so at home. Everything was provided in the cottage. The gardens were sensational. The ocean right on our doorstep. We explored every day and lunched out and ate great local produce cooked at home of an evening. We had a couple of deliveries of home grown strawberries that were the tastiest we have ever eaten. The birdlife was prolific too. Little wrens and rosellas only the start. Too many to mention .We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return to stay again some day.

Great little cottages

The cottages are quaint and very comfortable. The location is superb - just across from the beach so it’s easy to enjoy peaceful walks. A quick walk to the local restaurant. The hosts are very welcoming and very helpful with suggestions to make the KI experience great. Lots of little extras included to make the stay comfy and homely.

It has everything!

Fell in love with this cottage the moment we arrived and received the key from our wonderful host! The welcoming gift of chocolates,cheese, pudding and port was such a thoughtful touch. King size bed was SO comfortable! Little touches everywhere and everything you need in the condiment and cooking area, flasks and travel mug if wishing to travel and tour, lovely handmade soaps, books and more. Maps and inside information on the Island activities and dining.
The accommodation has a dining room full of games, dvds, pool table, darts and fishing gear for guests to use.
View to the beach from outside table complete with fairy wrens for company. Short walk to beach and pier.
Absolutely loved our stay here and we will return!

Made our trip more enjoyable

Everything that was written in past review were 100% correct and we weren't disappointed. Bob and Ange provided everything we needed, as well as what was available on the island to see and do. We think the secret to their cottages is that they thought what they would like if they stayed there!! We enjoyed our time on the island and highly recommend staying at their cottages.
