Full marks to the busy staff and chef.

We've dined here from time to time over the years, starting when on honeymoon in 1972. Seldom been disoppointed and this Saturday evening was no exception. Although we hadn't booked (dinner) the staff made space for us, asking that we would help them if we could free-up the table in an hour or so because there would be an influx of people who were coming prior to joining the ghost tour of the Port Artur site. Fair enough as we hadn't booked. Service was swift and polite. My roast was perfect and my wife had the rissoles off the specials board and said "excellent" with ample mash and vegies. Desserts were freshly made and served when we wanted them. Full marks to some very busy staff and chef.

Lovely place to stay.

They had reserved an upstairs room for me but as I have trouble with stairs they immediately moved my booking to downstairs room.
Lovely room, lovely people.
My only issue was $15 for breakfast despite me only having a piece of toast and cup of tea.

Great experience. Fabulous staff, clean rooms, easy parking, and a comfortable bed. Excellent restaurant. Awesome to stay and be able to walk into the historic site. Would happily stay again.

Simple little place with its own character.

Small motel with its own character, right next door to the historic site, we could see the view from our room balcony.
The motel was dated and small but so clean and comfortable. There was a parking onsite right in front of a room. It’s surrounded by nature we had a peaceful night sleep.
Restaurant served delicious foods. I was very impressed with the foods. We sat on table 1, looking out to the historic site.
Overall I was so happy with this place, value for money and enjoy the scenery and good foods.
