Nice little kitchenette, which was unexpected (hot plate, toaster, pans). Loved having the big sliding door, quiet part of town but still near shops.

Weird rooms, strange vibe but survivable

Came here after getting bed bugs at another place in town. Was an improvement on that, don't believe there was bed bugs, room was larger and spacious car park, but still a weird place. Few PowerPoints, dirty on the edges, weird bathroom design with tiny sink over the toilet and sketchy people sitting around drinking and smoking constantly. Wouldn't feel safe bringing my kids here. Owner also gave wrong keys to a room that was already occupied, or at least hadn't been cleaned. He may have been under influence.
So another dusty motel in Gladstone, I didn't pay for it but if it really was $180/night then I'd feel ripped off. And don't go near the pool.

Worst experience ever.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed. Cocroaches everywhere. Stains in the sink. Light fittings are broken. No WiFi. Smells very badly. Pool was ok. People's were smoking just outside the room and that goes inside the nearby rooms . It should take away from all booking platforms

This is one of the absolute worst places I have ever HAD TO stay at

This is (or at least my room was) one of those places that makes you wonder how they are allowed to operate in a first-world country.
- there is NO wi-fi.
- there are NO hangers in the wardrobe.
- there is NO regular daily cleaning.
- there are NO power points anywhere near the bed to charge your phone and have it handy, e.g.).
- there are NO clean floors.
- there are NO working lights near the bed (there were two lights; one didn't work and the other was missing the bulb).
- there are NO chairs that anyone would consider clean enough to sit on (see pic).
- there are NO drinking glasses (just a few dirty cups and wine glasses).
On the plus side though, if you feel bored, you can go on an adventure - inside your very own room! There is a hole in the bathroom that you could go exploring through, and (maybe) end up in China (see pic).
And ... the "pièce de résistance" : somewhat bizarrely, they charge A$190 a night for that! Personally, and I am not exaggerating, I would not be happy paying $19 for that room. In fact, you couldn't pay me $190 a night to stay there.
I have stayed, recently, at quite nice hotels (quite nice) with proper service for around $190.
Circumstances this time were such that I just had to stick it out and stay, but ... never again!
