Excellent Location
Another excellent stay at the Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne. The location of the hotel is excellent. So close transport, restaurants and shops. Also, it is very easy to get to the MCG and Marvel Stadium from the hotel.
When staying at this hotel, I usually book the Perkins Yarra View Rooms, as the views are great overlooking the Yarra and over to Southbank.
Will definitely be back next time I am in Melbourne.

Not bad, it is a 3.5!
We spent 4 nights at the Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne during the Eastern Holidays in April 2026. The hotel was OK, our room clean. The staff was also fine.
Our windows were facing the main central station.
We did not like the location too much, it was too busy and some strange fellows were on the streets. Breakfast was OK in the basement, the selection could have been wider.
Keep in mind: We made two excursions by a tour company, and we were surprised that in each occasion we were the last ones to be picked up, therefore got the worse seats in the buses...

Pretty Woman Show - Ladies Night Out
Perfectly comfortable, cleanrooms, comfy beds, only down fall bathroom door would not shut properly, kept rolling back so always a little bit open. Hade everything you need for a overnight stay. Service was polite and accommodating, arrange a very early check-in and additional bed for a third guest that was clean comfy and a good size. Complementary gift with booking was appreciated. Great location, short walk from train stations perfect if seeing something at the Reagent Theatre or easy stroll to Crown and Exhibition Centre. Lots of great places to eat near by.
