Excellent budget accomodation

I stayed in the lodge for a month for a work course. It is modest accomodation, as you would expect given it is so much more affordable than other accomodation options.
The shared bathroom areas look new and were immaculately clean at all times. The kitchen area was also clean. The lodge was quiet and I slept well each night.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and lovely people. I would stay at the lodge again if in Sydney for an extended period.

Booking cancelled one day before by Falcon Lodge !!

I didn't get to stay there.
I had booked with Booking.com, about a month before my intended stay.
I flew, from Ireland to Sydney for a wedding.
While i was flying, Booking.com sent me an email, saying booking cancelled.
Obv I didn't see that email. When I landed, I rang Falcon Lodge to see if I could check in early, they said 'booking cancelled' ...... I was 'not happy' !
No other accom available in Sydney (well unless you were going to pay about $1000 a night) ... it is Grand Final weekend. I guess Falcon Lodge were able to book out the room for more than I had paid !! But that is really bad business !
Booking.com were absolutely useless at finding alternative accommodation.

Best boutique Private Hotel in Sydney

I came back to Falcon Lodge after a year interstate. I had previously lived at Falcon Lodge for over 10 years. I returned with my partner to a huge family room overlooking The beautiful North Sydney Park, the oval where world class cricket matches are held and the rugby union. We were welcomed back by Manon the Manager with open arms. Manon had made sure that we had a beautiful room and had even organised a huge fridge/ freezer for us. We were both overwhelmed by the kindness that Manon the Magee had gone to the extent of making sure our room was AWESOME. Manon the Manager makes Falcon Lodge feel like coming home to Family. Falcon Lodge has a bus route outside the front door to Manly, and the Northern Beaches, and all suburbs to Manly and across the road buses to North Sydney and to the city and buses to Chatswood. Everything including taxis are at your door. Falcon Lodge is Home away from Home

Falcon lodge

The most disgusting place I have, ever stayed, the toilets are filthy as is the kitchen, washing of socks and underpants are done in the kitchen sink by some residences, the rooms are small and dirty with no natural light , if you try to make your self a comfortable stay it’s impossible , it’s very noisy every night from parties , there is no privacy at all, I will never return .a disgusting place to stay or visit .

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are disappointed to learn that you had anything less than a stellar experience at our lodge. Unfortunately, I think our lodge rules and rooms weren't suited to your particular needs and can assure you that we have a very strict - no alcohol, no parties rule but have a legal process in which we must take if these matters arise. Not fancy but cheap

My wife and I stayed here when we visited Sydney to see our son and spend the new year there and see the fireworks at Sydney harbour. At the time we were quoted prices in the region of $3000 per week to stay at other places. To stay here was a fraction of that cost. Whilst it is only one room it was perfect for what we wanted, as we would be out exploring for most of the day. The place is clean and very quiet and the location is perfect for visiting the metro area. There is a bus stop right outside the door from where you can go anywhere. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend this place to anybody on a budget or who does not plan on spending too much time in a hotel room.
