We have stayed here dozens of times over the years and always love it. The apartments are well maintained and the staff are excellent. We will be back soon.

Just okay!

Just an okay 2 night stay. We have stayed previously a few years ago. Ideal if you want to stay out of city but are happy to use the train. It’s quiet. Woolworths close by for essentials. Don’t take a taxi from the airport taxi rank!! Use a pre ordered one or transfers!!
Unfortunately they were unable to give us a room when we arrived at 1300. They said they would call when it’s available, I’m still waiting!!!! We arrived back just before 1600 then got the room!

Another happy stay

We had a wonderful stay in one of the suites especially adapted for disabled guests. My partner was celebrating his 90th birthday. The staff of the hotel were really caring and took time to chat. That mattered a lot. We've stayed here many times . We've stayed at other Meriton suites too, in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. We appreciate the same high standards found everywhere. Mascot Central suits us as the train station and supermarket are so close. We really appreciate the facilities there too. There is a sunny garden on the 11th floor and a viewing deck on the 14th floor as well as a lounge on the ground floor. I think these are unique only to Meriton Mascot Central. The lounge on the ground floor has a top quality coffee machine. The swimming pool and gym are rarely busy. We had some family members visit. The housekeeping staff made sure we had enough plates, cups etc for catering. The wine and chocolates on arrival were truly appreciated!

Check your toilet bowel and rim when you enter your room.

A common theme through many of the reviews on this site for this hotel is cleanliness. When are they going to take notice?
It is now 3 or 4 years that I have lodged complaints about the filth in the toilets at this hotel. They do not seem to care.
This stay, the POO (I wrote the correct word and it was rejected as a profanity) around the toilet rim was shocking. Disturbing. About an inch wide, around the rim, multiple colours even, so likely multiple folks, multiple cleaning failures.
It took much effort to get a manager up to properly look and properly clean, and a reminder of all the previous complaints about filthy toilets and shrieking that staff need to be taught how to clean a toilet properly. All falling on deaf ears, it appears.
And it continues to. A big apology and statement that they were pleased to be able to fix it so quickly. No, Meriton, you didn't. It has been years of complaints and it is still happening. Did you go to every room and check the toilets properly? Did you look at the rims? Have you hauled all staff and management in and commenced urgent review and training?
An apparent systemic issue does not resolve in an hour.
So folks, when you arrive at your Meriton room, check the toilet properly and see whether you are sharing and exposed or if you room is properly and hygienically cleaned.

Amazing location and facilities. I would stay there again any time I came to Sydney. Location close to train station and restaurants.
Our room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke even though it was non smoking. They would have been happy to move us if requested.
