Honestly couldn’t get a better location for the price!! Staff were very pleasant, cheerful , courteous and helpful.
Room was spacious , clean and comfortable. Pillows were like clouds!
Room smelled amazing when we arrived!
Close to everything you could want or need.
Only negative was we had an accessible room - not sure why but maybe that was all that was ready when we arrived-and there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom! No vanity or shelving etc and no lid to put down on the toilet seat so you could sit your clothes there while you showered. Obviously a minor inconvenience , and doesn’t alter the fact that we would definitely stay here again!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - EXTREMELY EERIE, UNSAFE, FORCED TO FLEE AT 11 PM!
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The photos online are a complete scam. They advertise a bright and welcoming environment, but the reality is a pitch-black, incredibly eerie, and sinister building. The entire atmosphere of the hotel was just bizarre and profoundly unsettling—it literally felt like walking straight into a horror movie.
My room was an absolute nightmare. The TV was broken, stuck on, and could not be turned off at all. Coupled with the extremely creepy vibes and unexplained, disturbing noises echoing from the dark corridors, it was psychologically distressing and impossible to stay in.
When I immediately went to the reception to request a room change, the staff were incredibly dismissive and completely unapologetic. They told me they were "fully booked" and offered zero solutions, later even having the audacity to blame me for complaining!
Because the environment was so abnormal, unsafe, and uninhabitable, I was FORCED to pack my bags and flee the property at 11 PM in the middle of the night. I had to pay out of my own pocket for a much more expensive hotel nearby just to escape that horrible place. I DID NOT STAY A SINGLE NIGHT.
Both the hotel and Agoda are now refusing a refund. Save your money, your sanity, and your safety—stay far, far away from this creepy and deceptive place!

Terrific location close to Town Hall station and light rail. Rooms are small but comfortable. Pretty quiet although bathroom noises are audible from other quests.

The hotel location was great. Sydney airport to town hall station around 20 mins. Town hall station to hotel, you'll probably wait longer for the green man at the road crossing than it will take to walk. It's literally minutes.
Hotel was OK. Room adequate for what we needed it for. No view. Internet whilst complimentary was patchy. Netflix on TV in one room kept cutting out.
There was a lounge area with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. Again was ok.
The hotel is a good base for exploring Sydney, very central and within easy walking distance of the harbour bridge, opera house etc.
Plenty of places to eat out. The Queen Victoria Building next door is a beautiful building with some lovely shops.
If I just needed a base I'd stay again. Think of a travel lodge in UK and you'll be about right

Great visit to Sydney at the YEHS QV building.
Spent 4 nights at the YEHS hotel across the road from the Queen Victoria building and it was a most enjoyable experience. I have stayed in this hotel in the past in 2019 and I was very happy with this second visit. The room on the executive level was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well. There was a nice sized bathroom and a mini fridge as well as tea and coffee making facility. It was very clean. I had a view of the Queen Victoria building so was very pleased with this bonus. There is a customer service area on the first floor with a pod coffee machine, tea bags, sugar, milk, biscuits and a microwave for guests to use. The hotel does not offer breakfast but there are so many cafes nearby that this is not a problem.
