Awesome room and views

The "Luxury suite" was very comfortable, bright and spacious. It featured an awesome view north and east across the ocean. The property includes safe and secure parking on site. The breakfast was satisfactory and included freshly cooked bacon and eggs. The property is located in a peaceful, safe and idyllic location.

Bannisters - one off experience, nice but not amazing

Dinner at Bannisters was expensive and “okay”, amazing service, menu as expected, but I was anticipating brilliance and wanted to be “wowed” but left thinking, nice we shared a starter grilled prawns (excellent), ling Indian curry for main (mediocre) and for dessert, banoffee trifle (did not enjoy the texture or taste). For the price it lacked lustre, outdoor lighting & some music may have helped lift the ambiance

Premiums

I’ve had about enough of not seeing more adequate premiums around these apartments. I am going home very disappointed. Please visit me.

Recommend staying but not eating.

The location, hotel accommodation and staff fantastic! Food was found to be at best very average.
We did eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at "By the Sea" and dinner at "The Pavilion" so we did give it a chance but just could not get even a slight yum out of me.

To be honest, If the rates were $400-500 a night it would be a 9 - but at $700 per night I can only rate it a 7. Most areas of the hotel looked tired and needed a new coat of paint or varnish. The room we had was clean and tidy, but lacklustre and needed new carpet and a freshen of the balcony. There were spiderwebs on the balcony and walkways, a couple of cockroaches in our room, the blanket on the bed was old and fraying, the spa in our room was not cleaned each day, and the seafood we had at the restaurant was overcooked. Everything, including staff, was pleasant, but nothing was outstanding - overall a pretty average stay.
