My travel plans changed so I tried to cancel 3 days prior to arrival. They were uncontactable by phone and email. I therefore arrived on the date they were expecting me. I informed them that I had wanted to cancel and they denied having any contact regarding that by email or missing any phone calls.
I had intended to stay but when arriving in the room I felt instantly uneasy. The room was tiny! The bed was a single and lumpy. The bathroom was unclean. I was informed by the staff member that the main gates to the motel were locked at 8.30 for safety. There was also a notice on the room door informing visitors of high likelihood of thefts and to keep valuable items with you at all times and remove all items from car. As a single female I didn't feel safe. I immediately reported my concerns to the staff member in the office who was not sympathetic to my concerns and told me I couldn't cancel. I left the key and left the motel. I again asked them to cancel as I could not stay there. She did not even offer me an alternative room.
I then drove 45 minutes to the next town and stayed in alternative accomodation. This motel has put my safety at risk and their rooms are not fit for purpose. They have taken the full payment for the room. I then stayed in a different motel same price big queen sized room with clean and functional bathroom and kitchen. Do not book here.

Shocking treatment by staff

Shocking treatment from staff member. Why advertise that you are 24hr reception if you have no intention of checking in customers. I travelled over 12 hrs and found available rooms on both Agoda and booking. Phone up to be told sold out and you forgot to remove the rooms. Drove past and less then half the carpark was full with what was multiple vacant rooms. I then had to travel an extra 3 plus hours and cleaned up a roo.

NOT A SAFE PLACE

This place is used to house the homeless.
People were knocking on my neighbours door all night, coming & gooing. it didn't stop. Then there was fighting and shouting from 2am. I was afraid for my safety as well as that of my vehicle.
The security gates were left open with all the comings and goings. it was a scary experience.
This is not a safe place to stay. go elsewhere or keep driving to the next town.

No, no, never again.

What a dump. The only thing this place has going for it is relatively comfortable beds and a high security fence to keep the locals out. Unclean and in disrepair, it’s a sorry example of a country motel. Washing facilities are onsite but don’t work. Carpets and general public areas are filthy. Sadly accommodation options are limited in this town. Seek other options, or drive through stopping only for a Chinese meal at Hon Doo…. More than acceptable Aussie Chinese.

Bottom of the barrel.

Grotty. Bottom of the barrel. Unclean, noisy. Probably ok for construction workers. Found a mug which someone else had used not washed. Surfaces sticky. Bedside lights not working. Obviously the management doesn’t care. We won’t be back in a hurry.
