A decorated masterpiece
This is a very nice place. Anna, the owner, and host has done a huge amount of renovations over the years, and now it is like a work of art. The minute we walked in, we were welcomed with a smile and asked if we'd like something to drink. She is a wonderful lady that does most of the work herself. The room was was big with a great view, comfy beds, and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was tasty and fresh, with plenty of chocolate treats as well.

Furchtbare Unterkunft und Gastgeberin!
We spent 3 nights in June 2021 at this horrible place. We got an apartment in the basement. Though it's sunny outside the room was very cold. At first, the host lady was very friendly but after we told her our room was freezing she became irritated and annoyed. She told us to open the window to let the breeze in so the room gets warmer from the heat outside. We did that but it was still freezing. At check out, we told her should check the heater. She was suddenly pissed and told us that because my wife is Asian and the Philippines don't like to open the window that's why the room was cold! I told her my wife is not even from the Philippines and that's definitely not the reason for the cold room! The lady was very racist and ignorant. She didn't apologize for the comment and neither for the room. Not recommended unless you like freezing place and rude host.

'Interesting' experience
Interesting property; the room was clean and spotless, so is the complete house. The breakfast was nothing special, but decent and enough.
My only point is the running of the 'hotel' - it is managed by an elderly lady, which is nice (as long as you're experienced in Austrian upper class conversational chitchat), but please make sure you take your bags when you check out, otherwise you might be locked out and have to wait until the 'hotel' opens again (aka when she comes back).

a nightmare / una pesadilla
This has been one of my worst travel experiences. Due to difficulties in the public transport from London we arrived after the 6 p.m. check-in deadline. The owner was not in the Villa but did not answer to the phone either. A couple of guests came into the house while we were waiting but they did not know anything. The villa is not well located since it is in the crossroad between a road and the train track. It may get very noisy during the day but it was so isolated at that hour that it was even scaring. My brother waited there while I went to the little village to find some other lodging. Everything was closed but fortunately a cook from a hotel who was about to close the premises after cleaning the kitchen allowed us to spend the night in the only available room. I paid for that room even though Booking.com had already charged me the Villa´s room. The next day I found that the owner actually lives 150 kilometers away!!!! She comes in the morning and leaves the premises in the evening. I asked politely for a refund through Booking.com but she refused although we did not even have breakfast. Nice earnings for nothing, no breakfast expenses, no need to clean the room.
Una de mis peores experiencias de viaje. Debido a las malas conexiones de transporte público y retrasos que tuvimos desde Londres llegamos después del check-in que era a las 6 de la tarde. A las 9 la dueña ya no estaba porque no vive allí, luego supimos que vive en realidad a 150 km de distancia, pero tampoco nos atendía las llamadas al teléfono móvil que aparece en la propia puerta del alojamiento. Con dificultades encontramos otro sitio donde pasar la noche. Al día siguiente pude hablar con la dueña antes de marcharnos pero al pedirle que me compensará a través de Booking.com se negó rotundamente a pesar de que ni consumimos nada del desayuno (ya habíamos desayunado en nuestro improvisado hotel de esa noche) ni tuvo gasto alguno por la habitación que se la dejaría tal cual para los siguientes huéspedes. Bonita y fácil manera de ganar el dinero.

Very difficult communication
We have booked our room for two nights just before New Years. Unfortunately, on the first night we were late on arrival (for about an hour). There was no call from the property, just email, that we were late and we are not allowed to stay at the property. At the premises were just a cleaning lady, who did not speak english and informed us, that the boss has already left and we had to stay at different location. During communication with booking.com we were assured, that we could stay the other paid night. The scenario was pretty much same as previous night. There was just hausmeister speaking just german. He informed us that there is no reservation on my name. He showed us to room with private sign on the door, telling us, we will pay in the morning. Luckily, we were refunded by booking.com (just 1/2 of the second day)
