Phantastic stay

Phantastic budget accomodation. Apparently, the "Wirtshaus" has closed so this is only a place to stay overnight and enjoy a superb breakfast. The upside now is that no cigarette smoke and no noise from the former "Wirtshaus" disturb your dreams. I utterly enjoyed my stay and would come back any time.

Hotel for catching the train the next morning

The hotel was booked because it had to catch a train to Vienna airport early the next morning, and although the hotel had some high prices and quality, the landlord, the old lady, who was not allowed that, put up with it. By the way, the scenery on the road from St. Wolfgang to Bad Isher is so beautiful, and the town of Bad Isher itself is pretty, it is recommended to visit Princess Sissy's betrothed large garden for €6 each (the house is said to have been introduced in German, and we did not go inside). There's also a big supermarket in town called EuroStar, not far from the hotel, where you can buy ingredients to make a dinner.

The staff is nice, check-in and check-out went really well. It's more of a guesthouse than a hotel. There are parking spaces, but they are quickly taken. The rooms are clean and quiet. Otherwise nothing special. The price is a bit high for the type of accommodation.

Nice, easy and a rich breakfast

Very nice staff welcomes the guests. The breakfast has a very nice selection of almost everything and a daily special was offered when we were there. The rooms are rather simple but clean, just enough for a few days.

A nice cozy hostel

I found this place to be a nice & cozy - it is not luxurious, but they are nice.
They also provided fresh towel each day. I did not have breakfast as it was 10 euros per meal & I did not want to spend that much so cannot comment on that. They have a well equipped kitchen where you can cook your food - you will have to clean up after yourself (just like most of the hostels). Overall, I would recommend staying here - it is value for money.
