Excellent!

Situated centrally in a very convenient location, this hotel overlooks a lively (not loud) square with a fountain in the heart of the Old Town. Quite a few of the interesting places in Vienna are in close proximity of this hotel and can be accessed by foot. Nice room, helpful and friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet made our stay in this hotel very enjoyable.

Average hotel

I stayed at this hotel for work. The hotel is located in an excellent central position in Vienna. My room was large, but I did not like either the carpet or the bathroom. The mini-bath in the bathroom was very slippery and dangerous when exiting; moreover, taking a shower practically floods the entire bathroom since the protective glass is very small. Breakfast was very good and varied, although the smells from the open kitchen (where the eggs are prepared) spread throughout the hotel. There is an underground parking lot very close to the hotel at a cost of $36 per day.

Would not recommend

Good location, bed and shower.
WiFi so weak doesn’t allow use, bathroom door is a slide door that doesn’t close, the AC is so weak it was terribly hot in the room. Described as 4 stars but it is no more than 3 stars worth.

Wiener grant

The hotel is in an excellent location and very quiet. The facilities were all very good. The museums are of a very high standard, as is the zoo, which puts London zoo to shame. I found the Austrians often dour or unfriendly but I recently read about "wiener grant" which explains a great deal.

Excellent location for a city visit

Excellent location for a city visit. Right on Kaertner strasse near all nice shops and very close to Stephan's Cathedral. Very friendly staff. We have been upgraded for free to a larger room. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The value for money is good. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast offers a good variety for any choice. We will definately visit again.
