A great surprise at a good price!
An interesting ambience in a large house in a central location with comfortable access to public transport.
The decor of the room was OK, a mix of tradition and modernity.
The staff were very friendly and helpful both at the reception and at breakfast

Well soundproofed room (very warm), equipped with safe and television.

Three years ago, we were guests at your establishment and were completely satisfied. The room was good and clean, the breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. In accordance with a 4-star establishment.
Now we are/were guests at your hotel from June 26 to July 1, 2026.
Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly, as we had to notice. Today our room was not cleaned or only partially cleaned. No cleaning of the floor and sink, used glasses were not taken away.
The breakfast buffet: small, no fresh rolls, no boiled eggs, packaged jam.
This leaves much to be desired and does not correspond to a 4-star establishment.

Great base for city break Vienna
Metro (West Bahnhof) is a five minute walk away and the Tram (52 and 60) stops almost at the door. In 15 minutes you are in the middle of the city. Hotel is part of the brewery but is operated separately. Own beer brew is delicious and you can eat and drink tot in the brewery's cafe.
Breakfast is sober but fine. However, in the immediate vicinity are delicious breakfast tents, I certainly would not book breakfast directly at hotel.
We stayed with three people in the "family suite". This is an apartment on the 3rd floor with a separate bedroom, two bathrooms and a spacious sitting / bedroom. Disadvantage is the many steps and steps in the apartment, not really suitable for disabled people.
This apartment is also not accessible by an elevator, which only goes up to the second floor. Then you have to take the stairs up another floor.
The price/quality is fine, certainly compares to other hotels in the center of Vienna.
