I will live here
We did the Zugspitz with my friend August 15th and we don’t know where to sleep.
We find this hostel for his low price and the beauty of the building.
The bedroom was clean, in details.
Good breakfast with a lot of différent choice on the buffet. The eggs was pretty good.
The person who welcome us was really kind and understand our difficulty to communicate so this was particulary funny.

Beware
I had asked to postpone my reservation well in advance. A straightforward “no” would have been the bare minimum. Instead, they ignored every message and request. In the end, I paid €140 for nothing.
Their behavior shows zero professionalism and zero respect for guests. I would not trust them with anything.

Owner is a Berwanger
We arrived mid-evening (8pm) with advanced warning and were told that the key would be left in the room door - as it was - no problem. Unfortunately our room had no balcony (not the end of the world but its what set the property apart) so I dropped an email to the owner which received no response. When i mentioned it to his mother casually at breakfast the next morning, I was met with a comically passive-aggressive attitude of (in German) "If it was so important to you, you should have arrived earlier as we give the your room to whoever arrives last". Nice!
When the owner did finally get his arsch in gear with a response, he ignored the details of our booking confirmation, said we were actually lucky we didn't receive a 2 X €15 surcharge for a late check-in and echoed Mutti's sentiments from above.
A completely avoidable scenario with a simple hands-up apology.
More hospitality, less hostility in future, bitte.

Molto superficiale - Superficial
The room could be ok... If there were dark curtains for each window and if the bathroom doesn't flood any shower!!! The bed has pillows that are completely empty!!!

Very welcoming.
We arrived on a very quiet evening, the village having a "rest" between the busy ski season and the summer walking one. The landlady was so welcoming and helpful. It was freezing for the end of May and she turned the heating on for us!
The rooms were simple but comfortable and typically Tirolean in style. Good breakfast with delicious eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Excellent value.
I would happily return.
