More of a family hotel.
I was there with my daughter. We wanted a relaxed extended weekend.
The spa area is located behind the indoor pool. Unfortunately, it was very loud and crowded.
The location is not ideal. The natural pond was occupied by the children. It would be nice to dive in there after the sauna session. The massage room is also diagonally opposite the indoor pool.
We did not find the layout to be ideal.
The massage itself was wonderful.
The sauna area was also very well maintained.
The food and the staff were excellent.
Unfortunately, it was too much of a children's hotel for us.

Tatsächlich haben dieses verlängerte Wochenende viele Großfamilien für ein gemeinsames Wochenende bei uns genutzt und waren komplett ausgebucht und hatten viele Kinder im Hause. Da wir auch kinderfreundlich sind, sind zu Ferienzeiten und am Wochenende meist Familien bei uns zu Gast, etwas ruhiger geht es dann außerhalb der Ferienzeiten zu... Relaxing days in the mountains
Perfect stay at Alpenhotel Zimba – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alpenhotel Zimba in Brand, Austria! From the first minute we were warmly welcomed and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The entire team is committed to making every guest feel welcome.
Particularly noteworthy is the excellent food: varied, fresh and prepared with a lot of love every day. The combination of regional specialities and creative dishes inspired us.
The hotel also sets standards in terms of cleanliness. The rooms as well as the entire hotel area are always in perfect condition, which makes your stay all the more enjoyable.
The idyllic location of the hotel overlooking the mountains completes the experience perfectly. We will definitely come back and can recommend the Alpenhotel Zimba without restriction!

Never 4 stars!
Senior boss is very arrogant and full of himself.
A lot of things are modern, but the hotel has been furnished without taste and without love.
I have never been to a hotel where you can be watched from the sauna while you shower.
Super nice staff.

Schade, dass Sie uns nicht vor Ort darauf angesprochen haben, was für Sie nicht gepasst hat und die Bewertung anonym erfolgt. Auf die Details möchten wir jetzt gar nicht eingehen. Good hotel in Brandnertal
We stayed at Zimba for 4 days.
We had a good journey - the hotel is at the entrance to the village.
The greeting from the senior manager was more cold than friendly.
The Lünersee room was modern, clean and large with lots of storage space. The bathroom also had a lot of space.
The location is great - the bus stops in front of the hotel.
The food was good but not gourmet. The breakfast buffet and the snacks were sufficient. The evening meal was good, but it could be a bit better. Unfortunately, the salad buffet was not varied and the main meals were always the same. Unfortunately, the Austrian buffet was missing the schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarren.
The bar was manned by service staff in the evening.
The spa area is very nice. Unfortunately, massages were only offered on Mondays and Thursdays and the spa area doesn't open until 2.30 p.m.
All in all, it is a nice hotel and we would recommend it.

Good starting point with room for improvement
Good starting point for the Brandnertal, bus stops right in front of the hotel. Rooms and hotel newly renovated, nice sauna area, great swimming pond. The hotel actually has everything - so why not 5 stars? Everything seems very impersonal and unloving - greeting by the senior manager cold, not warm - the perception did not change during the week either. Staff hardly approachable, apparently understands almost no German or English. Therefore mostly impersonal from the side. Food OK, breakfast buffet unfortunately gets boring over the course of the week as there is no variety. Lunchtime snack with leftovers from the day before OK, but unfortunately also unlovingly presented.
The house actually has all the prerequisites for a top hotel - just more heart and personal touch - then it would be almost perfect

Vielen Dank dafür, dass Sie sich die Zeit genommen haben, unser Haus zu bewerten. Es freut uns, dass Sie mit der Lage des Hotels, unserem Saunabereich und unserem Badeteich zufrieden waren. Schade, dass Sie den Service durch unseren Seniorchef als kühl und unpersönlich empfunden haben, zumal wir gerade im Service viele langjährige und auch einheimische Mitarbeiter beschäftigen. Dass Sie mit unserem Frühstücksbuffet und der Nachmittagsjause nicht Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen haben, tut uns leid. Hier haben wir größtenteils sehr positive Rückmeldungen. Wir bedanken uns trotzdem für Ihre Anregungen und Ihre Rückmeldung. Und fast perfekt ist ja bereits ein guter Ausgangspunkt - wir möchten ja gar nicht behaupten, perfekt zu sein :) Verbesserungspotential gibt es immer, wir trauen uns jedoch zu sagen, dass unser ganzes Team stets ehrlich bemüht ist, unsere Gäste nach besten Möglichkeiten zufrieden zu stellen !
