For connoisseurs an absolute must.

A family run hotel with outstanding cuisine and very friendly staff.
The hotel is very quiet, for relaxing just right.
Rooms are clean and well equipped.
A sauna can be used in the hotel.
Hikes for all levels of difficulty are available nearby, but some must be approached by car that should be known.

A well hidden nugget

The hotel's restaurant, Das Pfleger, is a hidden nugget. Fine cuisine that dares to go off the beaten track while ensuring an exquisite taste. Very friendly Service.

Excellent, charming hotel in Tyrol

Excellent hotel in the beautiful Tyrol. The hotel is beautiful, really charming in an equally charming village, nice, friendly staff, good clean rooms with incredible Mountain views. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was outstanding. Nice breakfasts, a snack is served in afternoon and very high standard dinner in evening. Very peaceful and relaxed. Highly recommend.

Hiking holidays in the beautiful Pustertal

We had half board at the Hotel Pfleger and were very spoiled. Dinner was a real treat for the palate and the eye every day.
The staff is very friendly, the rooms solid and the surroundings very clean and well maintained.
As a starting point for hikes and bike tours perfect. We will come back again.

Too expensive for the services offered

Little attention to children. An example: in a week of staying for dinner we NEVER found the glass for our daughter and we always had to get up to take it.
Uncomfortable beds and pillows, as under the mattresses there are wooden boards, instead of slats or nets, and every morning we woke up with back pain.
Absence of minibar, which should be essential requirement.
High position compared to Sillian, which is 10/15 minutes by car.
Nice and helpful waiters. Only one person spoke Italian.
