A base for Salzburg and its surroundings

Great location for using public transport. Clean and warm structure. Spacious room and comfortable bathroom. Savoury breakfast discreet while sweet just enough. Good reception and helpfulness of the manager

very nice operators
good breakfast
comfortable beds, good location near Salzburg
beautiful surroundings and good starting point for hikes
cable car is within walking distance
I felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back

Nothing more than basics

But I give it 5/5 for the friendly family running the place
Very low price, comfortable room with full balcony on great mountain view.
Salzburg center is 35 minutes away by bus
Breakfast very basic grocery items but they serve boiled eggs and coffee, nesspreso, tea
Very suitable for children, they gave us baby crib and high chair at the breakfast table.
Plenty of barking space for free
Be aware, there's no elevator
Only complaint is that they only accept cash. I wish they would take credit cards.

Nice and affordable Property

we were a couple and stayed for 3 nights durind May 2017.
I just happen to book this pension 2 days before our trip and i guess i made the perfect choice to be out of Salzburg city , not crowded , not so far from Salzburg(8km only) and around a great nature & Untereberg.
Unterberg is just behind this pension like a wall & awesome view - check the pic.
We saw all climates during our stay - sunny , cloudy & rainy and the view was great.
Pension rooms were good - no complaints. The owner was also very warm - though she does not speak english much but we knew a bit of Deutsch to communicate easily.
Breakfast is just average not much of variety - i feel a bit of scope is there to improve.
Internet Quality at my room was not that great as it was corner room.
That is all i have to say !!! We enjoyed our stay and would come back in future.
We had been to Wolfgang See and around also with car and it was very convienient.

A very nice family retreat

The location of the inn is great because it is near the highway and not in the urban centre which means there is no traffic. It is only 6 km from the Salzburg centre. The room is spacious and clean and the bathroom is big and well equipped. The breakfast was nice and the owner was very warm and helpful. I would definitely recommend this inn.
