Great value for money. Excellent location.

Clean, great breakfast and very friendly staff! Visited for 2 nights for a wedding. You can walk everywhere from the hotel’s location and ski lifts are only a 6 minute walk away (pretty sure there was one closer too).
Stephanie, who I believe is one of the owners, was so helpful and always had a smile on her face. Lovely to chat to.
Would definitely stay again when visiting Obergurgl.

April 22 Ski Trip

My son and I stayed at Haus Verwall for a week at the very end of the official ski season and the Obergurgl region.
We had a double room (no. 8) with a south facing balcony so we could sit in the late afternoon sunshine and look up the valley to the mountains.
The room and whole accommodation has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and was perfect for us.
We were only a short walk from the slopes (ski in/out) earlier in the season for sure, approx 100m from an excellent ski hire shop and supermarket, restaurants and bars only a little further away. In my opinion it’s the perfect location.
The breakfast is truly awesome and just what you need to start your day with so much choice including freshly cooked eggs to your liking every morning you can’t go wrong.
Our host Stefanie was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and when I managed to leave a rucksack in a gondola she called the lift people and ticket office for me to help try and locate it. (recovered the following day)
In summary a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, truly wonderful place to stay and somewhere I would definitely recommend. ⛷

Very enjoyable stay

My 3 sons, a friend and myself stayed at the Verwall during the first week of February and we had a very enjoyable stay. Our 3 bedroom apartment was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choice.The position of the Verwall was in a great position for virtually skiing in and out, 100 metres from a good ski shop and only a walk away from the restaurants. Stephanie was a charming host and made us very welcome. We look forward to re-visiting.

Spring Ski for a Family of Beginner/Intermediate Skiers

We had the pleasure of staying in this family-oriented, guest house recently. The simple rooms were comfortable and economical and the breakfast and welcome from the host Stefanie were superb. You can ski to and from the door and it's a sort walk in the evenings to nearby restaurants.

Outstanding

Such is modern life, we always seem to be on holiday :) This is however the nicest place we have ever stayed as a family. Superb location, so near the slopes, and very comfortable rooms. But what sets this place apart is the wonderful service and hospitality of the host, who catered to our (many!) needs and made the visit a joy from start to finish. We are based in the US but will definitely go back. Outstanding!
