Great for relaxing
The room was very clean and tidy. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood and you can relax and enjoy the twitter of birds and the beauty of the landscape. It also has a private beach on Lake Vorthersee. It is perfect for families with children because it offers a lot of content and activities, both in the open and in the interior. Breakfast was great.

Quiet and cheap with nice playground for kids
We spent one night in this pension on our way from Italy to Slovakia. We have bit mixed opinion on this pension as there were some very nice and good points but on the other hand, also few things we would highly appreciate not to face with them.
Pros
- extremely quiet location
- quite cheap accommodation
- excellent and big playground for kids in the garden of the hotel
- nice and helpful lady at the reception
- close to the lake and main road
- small fridge in the room
Cons
- horrible and uncomfortable bed with very thin (3cm) mattress on the top which produced awkward sound when turning/moving on the bed
- simple breakfast with very few things to chose
- mosquitos

Lovely relaxing place to stay in pretty surroundings
We chose to stay here as it was relatively close to the Ironman Austria race in Klagenfurt and we needed a place that accepted pets too (as we were bringing our cocker spaniel with us to the race).
The hotel was a lovely surprise when we arrived as it was in very pretty surroundings and easy to get to and even a view of the lake through the trees. Our stay was for five days and we had a lovely time.
The owners are very welcoming and friendly and did their best to accommodate our needs with our very limited German language skills. Breakfast was traditionally European with selections of cheese, cold meats, fruits and there were also eggs cooked to order along with coffee and orange juice. The garden was lovely to eat breakfast and the owners even got up to prepare breakfast at 4am on race day (which was greatly appreciated).
The room had a nice sized balcony and was very clean and well appointed with kettle and fridge, and the decor was a little kitsch - however the bed linen was crisp and white which was nice.
Overall, we would definitely recommend staying here. We were initially worried about being away from the centre of Klagenfurt and the event, but it ended up being the best decision we made to have a place to relax and enjoy before and after the race.

Excellent place to relax
We stayed there for 6 nights for Ironman Klagenfurt. Rooms are clean, breakfast is nice but what makes the place, apart from tranquil location is the hosts, who are ready to help and accommodate immediately.

Quiet & cheap overnight rest
We made a trip to Wörthersee lake in the mid September and visited many attractions there (Minimundus theme park, Wildlife park and the lake itself). We spent one night in this pension and we were very satisfied. It's close to the lake and the main road, its quiet, service is excellent and breakfast was rich. They have some sport activities for children (table tennis, bowling) and the staff will give you plenty of information on local tourist attractions.
Only problem made GPS by not knowing this address. I suggest using gps coordinates from google maps. There is two roads that leads here, one of which goes through private property at the very end. Though it says "keep out", just keep driving, it's only 50m from the hotel and anyway, it is part of the hotel's land.
