Landeck in October

Nice all-in holiday for a reasonable price thanks to Traveldeal. The Landeck region is quite beautiful and mountainous but you have to love hiking because in October the lifts and facilities are largely already in maintenance, so closed. The town of Landeck has a bus station plus a Bahnhof. This way you can get everywhere... in Innsbruck you are in an hour, for example. The hotel is ok, good breakfast, good 3 course dinner, good rooms, friendly staff and old fashioned decent so not too exuberant. Unfortunately there is no 'living room' for the guests so in the evening you can actually go to your room alone. Not so cozy (I think). But, all in all fine for a week especially if you have good weather and that Tyrolean West Card is also fine because 'free bus transport'.

Great value place to stay for skiing Ischgl or St Anton.

Excellent value hotel. I took a school group and we stayed in Bruggner Stubn for the week, travelling 25 mins each day to Ischgl.
Alex, the boss is very friendly and accommodating, as were all of the staff. The food was excellent and the rooms absolutley fine. The glass boxed in bathrooms in the modern section of the hotel were private enough, so no worries unless you are a bit prudish.
Looking forward to returning in December with another group of school children.

Central, quiet location

Reputable hotel, a few meters away from the center on a busy federal road.
A room to the back is very quiet. The rooms are spacious. The employees
are very concerned about their guests. Breakfast and dinner ok.
There was also a very well-equipped bicycle room for our ebikes.

Average Hotel, Although...

The hotel is pretty standard. A mixture of rustic and classic hotel rooming and a modern hotel rooming in the new section. In the modern section the bathroom is obly seperated by a box with glass panels covered by grey lines providing no privacy! The downstairs is mixed with oddly placed furniture and a salad bar next to the reception area. Service is fine with no complaints coming from me. Although a strong smell of tobacco can be smelt in the corridors but never in the rooms(Non smoking hotel?) The breakfeast/dinner service service is reasonable in comparison to nearby hotels and the food itself is also pretty normal. I wouldn't spend more than a week here though. Even if I had a discount. The nearest ski resorts are 30 minutes to an hour long so its nothing to be happy about. Overall, disatisifying and uncomfertable for large groups.

We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your stay.
We would like to assure you that we are indeed a none-smoking Hotel and intend on keeping it this way. In your particular case we do not know what happened exactly but we will make sure that there will not be any smoking inside the premises under any circumstances from now on.
In regards to the ski-resorts I would like to add that they are accessible by bus and usually take about 30 minutes. However due to the location of our Hotel there is a variety of major ski-areas to choose from, which is usually very much appreciated by our guests.

Great place, great host

Stayed one night on our cycle trip through Austria and weren’t disappointed. A fabulous large bedroom, superb wide selection of delicious food for breakfast, complete with food bags to make up some lunch too! Alex could not have been more helpful in welcoming us and recommending places to eat and also places to stay on our next stop. Would definitely recommend.
