Good value for money. Friendly staff. Safe bike storage.

Good value for money. Good basic breakfast. Nice and clean room. Bikes can be stored but the room is only locked at night. However quite safe because it's a quiet street and it is located on a steep hill ( cyclists be warned...). Very friendly staff.

not recommend

The place is super good, it is close to the city center and can be reached on foot, there are 2 bus stations nearby.
The rooms are not so clean, hair everywhere, the bathroom smells very bad, the shower is not clean.
The internet on the third floor does not work, when one claims. They say it will work that it is only for the day, in my second reservation there I asked for a room in another floor and there they just told me that the internet signal does not arrive in the rooms on the third floor.
The breakfast, the bread was dry and the staff is not friendly.
After the reception made a mistake with the card to enter the room, I called the emergency number for which they treated me very badly and after 40 minutes waiting, I just got into my room. They never apologized.
For the price of the rooms, I would not recommend this place. For the same price or a few euros more you can rent a better room elsewhere.

Great place for exploring the city

We stayed as a large group. It is on many bus routes to the train station and into town. The rooms all have between 4/5 beds and they were clean and had ample storage space. Breakfast area is large and had a good selection of foods. Nice outdoor area and 3 minute walk to the supermarket. Helpful staff.

Okay but a bit dirty

The hostel itself has an okay location not too far away from the Linz city centre. The room (in my case for four people) was a bit small but it had enough power outlets and space for all of us to store our stuff for the night.
There were quite some little hairs over the toilet seat and in the sink. Otherwise; the room was clean. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows.
The breakfast are had a nice variety of foods and drinks. Including a coffee machine and a tea station.

Worth it for the price!

Stayed for a 7 nights in my own ensuite room. Room had four beds so I feared I would be greeted by other residents but the helpful and friendly staff assured me it was my own room. Room was vacuumed and bathroom's were cleaned every 2 days by the cleaning staff who were very accommodating if I was inside the room and always knocked. Quiet at night and felt very safe. Breakfast was basic but included in the already cheap price so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. Only criticism was that the rooms can get very hot and mosquitos were present so I didn't want to open my windows too often. Potentially a fan or some sort of air cooling unit would be nice- only me in the room couldn't imagine how hot with other bodies.
