Charming dinner in the woods

We were a group of friends and came for dinner. It’s well hidden and on a side road but once we arrived absolutely charming. Warm welcome, lovely location, great food and service and I do recommend the „roter Veltliner“ A memorable evening, they have hotel rooms too, I highly recommend this charming welcoming friendly hotel and restaurant!

Cycling holidays in the Lungau

Family run hotel with exceptionally friendly staff and very good cuisine on half board.
Quiet location and good starting point for cycling and hiking.
We had a really pleasant stay and recommend the place gladly!

Wonderful stay at the hotel

Wonderful stay at the hotel!
Breakfast was rich, delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. Dinner far exceeded our culinary expectations - every course was a treat!
The staff deserve a very special praise - extremely friendly, courteous and warm. The boss of the house visibly contributes to the guests feeling completely comfortable.
The dog-friendly atmosphere was uncomplicated! Our dogs were not only tolerated, but warmly respected. They also felt at ease.
Our stay had a very high recreational value - we could relax perfectly and enjoyed the time very much. Definitely an accommodation we highly recommend!
Conclusion: A hotel where two- and four-legged friends feel very welcome! ❤️

Five stars service

I am a little surprised this hotel doesn’t have four stars. The service, the quality of the food, both breakfast and dinner, the rooms, the spa in the basement all deserve a high rating. The owners are friendly and one can immediately upon arrival sense this is a family run business with exceptional staff. The location is very unique, too, the immediate surroundings are quiet and the view is breathtaking. Hope to return.

Great Austrian hospitality

A beautiful traditional family run 3 star
Hotel in the picturesque village of Mariappfar, definitely offering 5 star service. Comfortable room with all the necessary amenities. Excellent restaurant with a lot of local game specialities. Great choice at breakfast with good coffee, fresh fruit and a wide selection of meats, cheeses etc. Nice spa in basement and free entry to a much bigger spa in the village. Hope to return!
