Hotel Bergland s pogledom na netaknuto alpsko jezero Achensee nudi neposredan pristup 3 besplatne žičarama do skijališta Pertisau. Ljeti su popularne aktivnosti na otvorenom paragliding ili vodeni sportovi na jezeru, udaljenom 5 minuta hoda.

A truly beautiful hotel
My family and I have just returned from a fantastic week at this beautiful hotel. The staff, who quite clearly enjoy their jobs, were fantastic and friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lake view room on the 1st floor and that view was stunning. The room was spotlessly clean and looked recently refurbished. It contained the usual things you would come to expect from a hotel room, including a safe (although no tea/coffee making) but the bathroom contained soap and shower gel and the towels were changed daily.
We had the half board option. The buffet breakfast consisted of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, pastries, fresh bread and rolls, selection of meats and cheeses, hot scrambled eggs, bacon and boiled eggs as well as tea or coffee. The dinner menu consisted of a visit(s) to the salad bar which had a good variety on cold items on offer. This was followed by a soup course. The main course was chosen from 1 of 4 on offer of which one was always a vegetarian option (which suited my wife and daughter). Finally there was the dessert course. The evening menu was presented at breakfast so you would select it then for that evening. I have posted some photos of the food below but have a copy of all the menus we had if you wanted me to send you a copy. The food was superb, was of fantastic quality and beautifully presented. Drinks were reasonably priced with a small glass of wine costing 2.5 Euros, a large beer 4.10 Euros and soft drinks around 3.5 Euros.
On arrival you are given the Achensee card that gives you free travel on the local buses and discounts on the 2 local cable cars (Karwendel which is about 100m up the road and the Rofan which is a 10 min walk from Maurach), boat on the lake and steam train. If you plan on doing these 4 things alone then it is definitely worth upgrading the card to the 'Holiday' card for 72 Euros for an adult and 36 Euros for a child up to 15yrs. This can be done at the hotel and gives you unlimited 'free' travel on these 4 things. It also includes entrance and discounts to local museums and other local attractions.
This hotel is perfectly located on the edge of town with fields all around. Paragliders regularly land right outside after launching themselves from the tops of the mountains. It is about a 5 minute walk to the lake edge in one direction and about the same to get to the Karwendel cable car in the other direction.
In summary, this is a hotel we would definitely come back to. The people, the food, the room and the location all made what was a truly superb family holiday. We will be back .

Wow!
Stayed 2 June 2018, room 305 (or 315? 3rd floor opposite stairs). What a superb family-run hotel. A few hundred metres from the centre of the village surrounded by fields and a stunning view over the lake. From the moment we arrived we were treated as individuals by the Niedrist family. All the staff we came into contact with were happy and obviously this is a hotel which is a nice place to work. Special thanks to Monika, Erika and Valerie for their attention during meal times. We cannot praise this hotel enough. A fantastic stay in a beautiful area. Thank you.

Top class hotel
My wife and I have just completed a weeks holiday in the Hotel Bergland. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was excellent with wonderful views of the lake. It was clean and comfortable and met all our needs. The food served was of excellent standard and a varied menu was provide each day. We ordered packed lunches on several days which were again good value. The hotel itself has one of the best positions in the resort with easy access to the village, lake front and walks. The free bus stops outside the hotel. One of the best hotels we have stayed in in Austria and highly recommend it to others.

A perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge
From the moment you enter this hotel, you feel welcomed.The entrance has been revamped and the colour of the wood and decor, along with all the candles in the evening creates an inviting feel.Our room ,304, had a stunning view of the lake and was immaculately clean with an extremely comfortable bed.The service in the dining room provided by Robert, Monika and Erika was outstanding.If you like traditional Austrian food, you will thoroughly enjoy all the meals whilst enjoying the lake views.The beautiful village of Pertisau is perfect for a stroll after dinner, but the position of the hotel also means you can enjoy the sunset over the mountains from the bar area.The Bergland Oase is also a beautifully clean and calming spa area for relaxing in.We walked at least 8 miles every day and only caught one bus- the variety of walks from the door is amazing.The three valleys are all different but all equally peaceful and beautiful.The icing on the cake is that on every walk there is a traditional restaurant in which to sit and enjoy the views.If you enjoy walking and are looking for a hotel with wonderful views and excellent service but not extortionate prices,the Bergland is very hard to beat.Thank you to all the team for everything you did to make our stay so enjoyable.

The best there is
already reviewed this hotel went back again this year,3 star hotel with 5 star quality all rooms have lake or mountain view and have balcony had one overlooking lake this year awesome,the food is second to none with plenty of variety,beautifull rooms with plenty of space,all though as I have said before it is mainly a german hotel but we get on so well always met friendly germans, this year my wife unfortunatly spent her holiday in hospital we had to go to docs twice before she was admitted and the hotel owners drove us to the doctores and helped us out an amazing family. only 5 mins or less to the gondola and village centre, there is so many great walks around pertisau that the day trippers miss out on, gramai alm and gern alm are the 2 most popular flat walks and is only about 1 hour,each direction.
