13. Stay, that speaks for itself...

We received a brochure with information and vouchers from Schneeberghof by mail, which encouraged us to go back there (see the latest review "The 'regular guest days' were very pleasant again" from October 2025). Therefore, I sent an email to the hotel and received a very quick confirmation (as requested) for "1 deluxe park room for 2 adults, regular guest price half board/free room upgrade." And it was very pleasant and in order at the hotel, during the hikes, a ride with the Salamander to Schneeberg, and overall everything was again very enjoyable – so once again "definitely worth returning!"

The “regular guest days” were again very pleasant

This year already our second stay (see last review “The Lightness of Being” from January 2025) and in total our 12th stay. Stay here – so real “regulars”! It was as always in terms of room, food and drink, overall Service, indoor pool etc. everything was fine! Since the walks and hikes in the village and on the mountain (this time also by train to the Schneeberg!) as well as the visits to cafes and restaurants were pleasant, the summary is new: So it was again a very pleasant stay here – quite to come back!

not recommended, value for money inappropriate

Big disappointment, for this price we would have expected better Service. Breakfast and salad buffet ok, you can't do much wrong. On one of the cooked foods I unfortunately got sick and was out of action for 12 hours, which the hotel management did not care at all. Room ok, but thoroughfare + train route right in front of the house. All in all, massively too expensive for the offered performance.

The Lightness of Being

So it says on a big sign in front of the hotel. And so it is: here you can quite pleasantly experience and feel the “ease of being”. We have been here many times (see the review “Repeat offender – speaks very much for this hotel” from October 2023). We have booked by phone, quickly the confirmation came by email. The arrangement this time “regular guest price half board”. We received – very attentively – the same room as the previous time. As already reviewed several times: very nice room, attentive service, food (breakfast and dinner) and drink in the restaurant very good and plentiful, we were at the bar once (a voucher of the postal Christmas wishes from the previous year), we did not use the included in the price “afternoon snack with savory dishes, homemade cakes at the hotel bar” due to time constraints, very well we enjoyed in the wellness area the “ease of being” during the morning swim and also in the afternoon in the relaxation area. Since the weather meant well with us, we did – despite sometimes icy, snowy or gorgeous paths – extensive hikes / walks, as well as enjoyed snacks in cafes of the place. So it was again a very pleasant stay here – quite to come back!
