All around a place to feel good
We have already been guests at the Lindenhof a few times for cross-country skiing in winter and this year in June for the first time in summer. It is difficult to decide when it is more beautiful, as each season has its special charms in Ramsau! The location of the hotel, as a starting point for extensive and beautiful bike tours, is perfect.
In the house, we feel very comfortable and well taken care of, what more could one want?
Thanks to the Eisl family and the entire team, we look forward to seeing you again in December 2026.

Holidays at Lindenhof
Already once again we were allowed to spend dreamlike days at the Lindenhof. The hotel is located outside the village center in a great quiet location. Hiking trails and cross-country skiing trails lead directly past the hotel in winter. The house itself presents itself modern - traditional and is actually as beautiful as seen on the homepage. The rooms are available in different sizes and are all made of lots of wood and classic alpine design. Equally nice are the breakfast rooms or the bar or entrance area with fireplace. There is also a nice spa area with outdoor pool, sauna, etc. Massages (Mr. Zoltan) are also recommended. The hotel offers half board with multi-course menu. The breakfast buffet is extensive and offers enough variety. But what makes this hotel special is the people who work in it. Starting with the Eisl family of owners, who are present 24 hours a day and perfectly live up to the service idea that the customer is king. The many (sometimes long) employees also contribute to the perfect holiday feeling (be sure to visit the hotel bar with great Service from the entire team!). In summary: a highly recommended hotel. It is understandable that all this has its price, of course. But it's worth it.

Our first visit, but probably not our last.
We were traveling as a couple and enjoyed the stay at Lindenhof very much. The immediate proximity to the mountains and the seclusion we liked very much. Staff were very friendly and helpful (trips, hiking tips etc.). My food intolerance was well implemented in the food - I had to remind or ask a few times due to changing staff. A wheat-free (declared) alternative for afternoon snacks would still have been the bonus.
Our room was very cozy & everything very clean - both the rooms and the rest of the hotel complex. The pool (with a view of the mountain massif) we used daily after various sporting activities. The bath towels are available directly in the wellness area and leave them there again - so you save drying on the balcony and always have a fresh towel :)
It was probably to our advantage that we were there in pre-season - we often had the pool to ourselves and even at the buffet (breakfast/evening) there were never any waiting times. The Dachstein summer card is included - so we could use the cable cars and the hiking bus free of charge.
The value for money was definitely right & we definitely recommend the hotel!:)

Good and clean hotel
A clean and decent hotel just outside Ramsau a place where you can great hiking, cross country skiing etc etc
The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. The wellness is not designed for many guests. Some guests felt it necessary to put down their towel!
Our room a dachstein suite had a fine bed, separate toilet and a somewhat small bathroom. No TV by the bed.
The room smelled very like sewers. If you closed the door, it wouldn't bother you.
Then the kitchen. Solid but not special. We are better used to in Austria. Salad buffet no variety and main course regularly left something to be desired.
Hence sufficient and no good.
Quality hotel 4 stars is correct but cuisine absolutely not.

Cosiness and pure relaxation
We spent a weekend at Lindenhof and completely recovered.
Warm welcome by boss Petra and well looked after by friendly staff.
Our room 303, a stone pine suite offered ample space, super comfortable bed, great rain shower and a small balcony.
Breakfast buffet and dinner left nothing to be desired. Above all, the hotel scores with its location with wonderful mountain views and the pool, bathing pond and small wellness area.
We had our bitch with us. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or on the lawn. Was no problem for us as our bitch stays good in the room. When dining on the terrace, the dog is allowed.
Conclusion: a beautiful hotel in a great location and great service.
