Hotel Stierer smješten je 500 metara od središta mjesta Ramsau i svega par minuta vožnje automobilom od skijalištkog područja Ski Amadé. Hotel uključuje restoran. Sve sobe sadrže balkon s pogledom na planine.

Value for money fits - we would come back!
After all the bad reviews, we were actually worried that we would fall very into this. BUT we cannot understand the really bad reviews. Brief summary of our stay:
- Yes also we were not received and our key was ready at the reception. Wasn't tragic for us, though. In the evening, however, we were greeted immediately and we received the Sommercard.
- The room was clean, as well as the bathroom. Personally, I don’t think the carpet is that nice either, but you can’t choose that.
- Dinner: There is no 4-star chef at work here, I would call it home cooking. We ate great, though! There is a big soup bowl on the table, then a main course (it was schnitzel for us and goulash the next day) and a dessert. We were full of cardboard and it was delicious! The children also get different food if you clarify this beforehand. It's not a problem.
- Breakfast: Buffet style. There were "ONLY" emperor rolls and bread. Didn't bother us now. Fried eggs were offered and pancakes. There was fresh watermelon. The range of sausage/cheese/jam/honey is of course kept simple and it is not a fresh product from the farmer or similar. There were also cereals. All in all, you really can't complain here either.
- Garden: The kids were great in the garden. Next door there is a yard with horses.
Our conclusion: You can already see when Booking Referral that we are not in a luxury hotel here, so you cannot expect such products when eating. The staff was friendly throughout and very careful that everything fits. We would definitely come back!

It would not stay here again
This place was booked for me by the Salzkammergut Touristik.
It was close to the bus-stop, the supermarket and the trail to the Guttenberghaus hut.
We were hiking around the Dachstein, and really only needed a place to sleep and a warm shower.
I would not stay here again.
Room was fine. Small balcony. Small desk. Nice bed. Television had only Czech TV-channels (four). Bathroom was OK, although it took a long time for the water to get warm.
We had halfpension which should be a three-course-meal. We had spaghetti-tomato soup as a first course. For our second and third course we had cucumber-salad and rice with a chicken-thigh. It was very salty. I had expected something a bit more austrian.
Breakfast was mediocre. Nothing fancy. I've had better at cheaper hotels.
I would not come here for the food.

Okay to sleep over, don't raise expectations too high.
At the reception we were greeted nicely. Room was unacceptable. Dusty, dirty, harre from the predecessor in the shower. I was promised an accessible shower. But that wasn't the case. Different mattress height in double bed. Furniture outdated. TV had only 2 Austrian channels, otherwise only Czech programs. Water took forever to get warm. Breakfast is kept simple with cheap products and baked bread. Coffee machine would also be looking forward to cleaning again. Conclusion: For those who like it simple and simple, it is just right. Good for staying overnight, good for feeling bad.

Not recommended and far too expensive!
I have no idea how the hotel managed to get positive reviews here. On other platforms, the hotel has extremely bad reviews and after our stay in December we can only confirm that.
The room did not match what I had booked, but the lady didn't care. The room was extremely old and worn and the chair was missing from the table.
No information about breakfast times or other information about the area when checking in.
Far too expensive for what you get, but in Ramsau and also in Schladming the motto is:
"If you're not from here, make sure you're not here long"
You don't feel welcome and want to leave as soon as you arrive.
Checkout time is at 10:00 a.m. and the cleaning lady was already waiting impatiently outside the door at 9:55 a.m. and would have liked to throw us out of the room immediately!
As an Austrian you are not welcome there.

It seemed like old building being renovated recently, minimalist design. fine, but not exciting like any other Austrian building.
Good food, good beer and staff OK. The views are stunning. Book half board if you coming. Maybe a bit more choices for breakfast would be good. And skip the cold soup. That's bit odd.
The rooms are very basic, toilet in main room is not not good idea at all, there is a gap between door and frame. Anybody can hear everything ! Literally.
Also, put some pictures in single room, it felt like hostel. And more wood panels.
