Great hotel with many advantages at an attractive price.

Clear recommendation; I have rarely been treated so lovingly/family-oriented and yet professionally in a hotel. From the phone booking, through the handling of a change on my part, to check-out, everything worked excellently. No matter whom you meet (especially Mrs. Herm), everyone is extremely warm and accommodating. Our room was spacious and very appealing. We even had a balcony. There is a great breakfast buffet with organic products, plenty of fresh baked goods, and fruit.
Fruit and water are always available at the reception. Free parking spaces are more than sufficient, the ticket for public transport was also included in the price, with the bus stop right outside the door and the ride to downtown taking maybe a maximum of. 10 minutes. So, anyone planning a trip to the beautiful Salzburg is well accommodated at Hotel Heffterhof. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful experience

We stayed at this hotel and were thrilled with the welcome and detailed information received from Ms. Edyta, whom we thank and greet. Hotel located just a few bus stops from the center of spectacular Salzburg (bus stop right in front of the entrance), with very convenient free parking adjacent. Very nice and spacious room, very rich breakfast with top-quality ingredients. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a stay in this beautiful city.

Visiting from Denmark for the weekend. Room was dirty, and in quite rough shape. Bathroom had a lot of hair on the floor, empty shampoo dispensers, doors for shower stuck and hard to open without violence, shower head was leaking a lot from the hose preventing good water pressure.
Parking was easy and very convenient. The area around the hotel was quiet and placed in residential area, but requires car to get to city centre. No shops or restaurants nearby.
Breakfast was not restocked, empty eggs, empty juice, coffee machine not consistently.
For me, i do not see this as a 4 star hotel, as it gave me more of a motel vibe
