Great location

Great location, amazing food and really helpful and attentive staff, our only slight grip, was the room was a bit dated and not as clean as we would of liked, however the positives very much out weighed this.

Enjoy see in the alps

The hotel has a very good position: is directly at the see and close to the Seeboden’s other hotels, restaurants, amusement locations or center of the village. The hotel has also its own private beach, parking, very nice terrace in the restaurant with top view on the see, little and a bit old place for kids to play, wifi connection outside and inside of the hotel.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and properly spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. Terrace for our room was great – big with table and sunshield. The hotel and the rooms are a bit old, but nothing serious, anyways be aware not to expect any luxury or modern approach.
Another advantage could be that the hotel is one of the few stops of the see boat, so if you want to use this type of transportation, great advantage.
On the private beach you will find also the see sports center and on the side of the hotel is a bike rent point, so plenty to do without to walk around the village, see and searching. It’s right there and great if you are first time in Seeboden.
Breakfast was OK, nothing overwhelming, but from all sort a bit at least. I wasn’t bored at all after 3 mornings with it.
For our room there was one disadvantage, the central air-condition unit  was behind the wall, so we had partially 24/7 some kind of noise, but in reality we weren’t bothered so much, only pay attention to that if you would be sensitive to noise and choose a calm room.

Einmal und nie wieder!

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft, und die Sportangebote in unmittelbarer Nähe sind gut.
Die Einrichtung war vor ca 60 Jahren modern, heute einfach nur abgewohnt.
Das Frühstück ist überschaubar und nicht immer frisch.
Der selbst ernannte "Frühstückscoach" Willi darf Gäste anpöpeln und beleidigen, ohne das sich die Inhaber dafür zuständig fühlen, oder sich gar entschuldigen.

Allerhöchstens 2 Sterne Hotel

Das Hotel an sich hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Millstätter See. Allein dadurch kann man vielleicht den Preis für die Nacht rechtfertigen. Das Hotel an sich hat allerhöchstens 2 Sterne. Verdient. Toilette und Bad sind aus Plastik und so klein, dass man darin sicher nicht umfallen kann. Preis ist schon sehr hoch. Essen kann man nebenan im Restaurant Ertl auch wesentlich besser und bei der Frittatensuppe bekommt man dort dazu die doppelte Menge für den gleichen Preis.

Lage super, Rest na ja

Die Lage mit der schönen Terrasse ist wirklich super.
Ansonsten ist das Hotel doch ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und das trifft auf Alles zu. Beim Frühstück ist auch noch Luft nach oben, insbesondere was die Präsentation betrifft.
