Great location

This hotel is situated just in the center 6 minutes away from the ski lift Giggijoch. The swimming pool Freizeit Arena ist just next door. The breakfast are perfect. The only flaw is a bit old furniture in the rooms, but it is well compensated by daily cleaning service.
The japan Restaurant in the ground floor is a very good one.

Overpriced, needs refurbishment, good location, clean

The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance from Gigi Joch ski lift. There are 4-5 good restaurants nearby, but you need to book ahead of time, since they are all full. You may find a good Japanese restaurant downstairs, with an interesting menu. The rooms are spacious and clean.
There is somebody at the reception only for a few hours per day, since this it not their main building...Room furniture is old and needs refurbishment/replacement. The radiators didn't work for the first 3 days, although I repeatedly reported them to the reception desk in the morning. Only on the 4th day somebody came and fixed them. The breakfast menu is decent, however the eggs are cooked right on the hallway at the entrance in the breakfast room, on a small stove. Anybody going to breakfast can see and pass by the large pan with 4-5 eggs being cooked, so they are within anybody's reach (not ok at all!). In the morning I could smell the bacon being cooked although my room was on the 3rd floor (room 134), as the smell came underneath the door. The safe box didn't work: there was no way to use a code, however they left me the back-up key on top of it. If you wanted safety, you needed to take the key with you on when you got out of the room.

Average

We had a repeated heating problem - the room was cold. One day the warm water did not flow - nothing pleasant after skiing. Breakfast still the same, unchanged. The hotel was well located near the lift station (5min by walk), close to many restaurants and bars. It is a quiet hotel. Ski-room connected by elevator. I recommend for families and couple of friends. Rooms have a balcony.

Good location, weak service

Great location in central Sölden, good breakfast. The sauna in the hotel doesn’t work so they send you next door to a public spa and health center which is nice, but they failed to explain that you need to bring your own towels (which the hotel did not provide extra without asking), and you need money for a deposit on the wristband access watch and for the lockers. The reception at the hotel was almost never manned so there was no one to answer questions or any type of concierge service.

Very nice place!

This hotel is a very simple but nice place to be if you are in Solden. We spent there 8 days and we are planning to go back again in March. Price/quality ratio is excellent, and the hotel is strategically placed so you can live Solden and its sky slopes without moving your car.
