Tranquility, hospitality, base for Salzkammergut

We stayed 6 nights at Landhotel Prielbauer as a family of four, with two adult children. We had two linked rooms, which was an ideal solution for us. It gave us plenty of space and privacy, while still staying close together.
Our rooms were on the second floor and were spacious, very neat and comfortably furnished. The beds slept excellently and the bathroom was modern and cared for. We had a view of the parking and surrounding meadows towards Irrsee. Although this may not be the most spectacular view, it still created a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere.
Breakfast was an absolute plus every morning. The choice was very extensive and you can have breakfast both inside and outside. We always chose the spacious terrace, which was a wonderful start to the day. The hotel's location is also perfect as a base to explore the beautiful surroundings around Mondsee, Irrsee and the Salzkammergut.
What sticks with us most is the friendliness of the employees. Everyone was extremely helpful, welcoming and always willing to give advice or practical information.
This is also a good choice for travellers with an electric car. The hotel has two charging points and a few kilometres away there are also opportunities for fast charging.
We used the evening menu at the hotel once. Although this was practical, it did not quite meet our expectations. That is why we chose to eat in the cozy center of Mondsee the next evenings, where you can find several nice restaurants.
In summary, we can definitely recommend Landhotel Prielbauer. The comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly service and ideal location make this hotel an excellent choice for anyone who wants to discover the beautiful region around Mondsee.
Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility, hospitality and a perfect base for excursions in the Salzkammergut.

Room in the old building max 3 stars

Friendly reception, good breakfast buffet, nice bar and friendly service, room in the old building okay, but max 3 stars. Bathroom only 3 m2, facilities from the 60s, apparently not renovated in contrast to the rooms. Balcony very small and partly a disaster. Corner balconies, you can look directly into the neighbor's room. If both rooms use the balcony, it is an imposition.

Great stay

Nice hotel and quiet location. We liked it because it is a lot of wood construction quite noisy. We have also indicated this at the reception.
Price / quality is not entirely in proportion.
Staff are all super friendly and room is really clean! Bathrobes are in your room and backpack and bag with swimming towels.

Great clean hotel.
Dog-friendly.

Only criticism: unfortunately there was no small refrigerator in the room.
